Ok there are few Hue deals on Amazon mainly 40% off the starter kits which is fantastic but this is fantastically good - single colour bulbs down 55% from £49 to £22.49 !
Hope they come back in stock before Prime Day ends :disappointed:

Most of my appliances use E10 bulbs, don't think you can buy E10 to E27 converters?

Im torn between the deals!?
With the switch, seems like a great deal. Unsure if to get either
A) Starter + a colour bulb seperate (Bridge + Dimmer + 2x White Bulbs, 1x Colour Bulb Total £71.98)
B) Starter + 2x colour bulbs. Would have to get 1xE27 1xB22 due to limit of one bulb but could get a converter for other bulb (Bridge + Dimmer + 2x White Bulbs, 2x Colour Bulbs Total £94.47)
C) Stick with B22 Starter Kit (Bridge + 3x Colour Bulbs Total £89.99)
With option B over C, I get 1 less Colour Bulb in place of 2 White Bulbs and the switch for just £4.48 more.
Anyone know what seems the best option??

The dimmer switch is great but not everyone needs it.
If you are using the bulbs in side/table lights and happy to control via the hue app / a smart device like the Amazon Echo then you might not use the dimmer switch that often.
If you want to use for ceiling lights and want people in the house to NOT use the wall switch (as turning off at the wall means you can't turn on the hue bulbs until the wall is back on) then you could place the dimmer switch near your existing wall switch as the alternative people in your house should use.
I would get the colour bulbs as for the price difference you get a lot more from them. Plus you can always add the dimmer switch at a later date, where as if you regretted not having colour bulbs you will need to swap them out (and they are expensive when not on prime day) and of course sell your white bulbs/use them somewhere else.

Great price. Saw another thread with someone mentioning Xiaomi Yeelight as an alternative. Much cheaper and no need for a bridge. Just spent an hour looking at them and doing some research when I should have been sleeping. I'm torn between them since I already have some hue lights.

I would suggest more hue lights. I would worry about compatibility issues for alternatives, and there would be less apps too

I would so buy these if I didn't have two bulbs already (3rd is being used)

So you don't just put the bulb in and it works. ...?

Can vouch for the Yeelight. Bought 2 for 13 quid each from Gearbest. Really easy to use with the app. Heat for the Philips though; great gadget!

Bargain (relative to RRP anyway!). Purchased one of each to complete my Hue House cheeky Even better with the STUDENT10 code - under £35 in total for 2 bulbs.
