Its £999 for the tv and £189 separately for the Ultra HD Blu Ray player, but John Lewis are offering them as a bundle for £1,038.00, which to me is a bargain.

I wonder if Richer Sounds would price match this bundle in order to take advantage of their 6 yr warranty rather than the 5yr warranty with JL. Might be worth someone trying.

If no interest in 3d then the LG b6.
Otherwise find a few more pennies in the sofa and get the c6

Good deal. I'm not a fan of the weird stand though...

so when Panny starts their OLED line?
so fed up with these flawed tech LCDs.
Sony and LG are into it.
Samsung is busy faking it.

Only LG are making the TV Oled panels, all the other Oled TV's from Sony and Panasonic etc, are their processing interpretation for the best picture.

Not a 10 bit panel, would expect that at the 1k+ price point

Panasonic OLED start at £2999 in John Lewis.
25% less than £4k !!

Interesting design. Not sure what it would look like in the average sitting room though.

looks hideous to be honest.
I'd never buy a TV like that.

yes I know, but even with same panels there can be much difference in picture quality and performance of the TV.
as processing and components used and general engineering differs with different manufacturers.
also the build quality and design.

The b7 is the newer panel and same panel as the w series. It is 25% more brighter than the b6.
I was speaking to the LG rep in John Lewis.
I may hold back for the b7 which is £2k currently at totaldigital
