How do you use a router as a booster? Trying to stream virgin in the garden with a power line but it says it's on different network

If both routers support WDS (Wireless Distribution System) and you have the choice of bridging or repeater modes then you'd use bridging as this avoids the halving the bandwidth by introducing one hop to the main router.
It's not unusual for most consumer routers to have reduced functionality firmware and therefore not support WDS. You will need to consult the manual for both routers and/or see if there's a 3rd party firmware for both routers such as DD-WRT.

mantisteck? loll never heard of them.
Good price for a router to use as a booster or switch perhaps.
But if your buying to replace your main one then I would recommend you pay the lil extra to get yourself a good branded one with better features etc.
