tests no doubt funded by The Hut Group (or they paid the most to be ranked first).

na, its more a case you buy cheap crap and get all indignant about it when people want to pay for better quality goods.

My bad, forgot your knowledge of quality supplements was better than an independent scientific analysis organisation.

Am I missing something? Why is this such a hot deal? Still more expensive than myprotein on a normal day.
Also for anyone who always get flavoured whey, give the unflavoured a go. Has better nutrition ratings, tastes fine on its own with milk, and is more flexible for adding you own flavours if you have nutri bullet/ninja.
To the poster above, still not got my 5kg from that other deal. Amazon assure me it will be delivered. We'll see.

I mix them with unsweetened almond milk. 1 scoop with 250ml almond milk, or less milk if I want a stronger tasting shake.

Been waiting for this to pop up again. These are 100% genuine peeps, bought from them before when the deal popped up over a year ago now.
This is a fantastic price for this protein, usually sits around £45 for the 2.2kg tubs.
Just read a few comments and questions on here, and this stuff is head and shoulders above Matrix protein. I won't knock MyProtein, because I know they do good stuff for some top prices...but protein is protein (as long as you don't buy the brick dust trash they sell in Holland&Barratt and the likes), its the carbs, fats per serving you need to look at (depending on your goals). Personally I'm always high protein, low carb and low fats. But, as I say, buy for you intended goals.
And no protein supplements will beat actual food nutrition.
Oh, and the choc peanut flavour and both the chocolate flavours are good... I went for banana and vanilla, because I'm weird like that.

Can't knock MyProtein for value for money (I buy a couple of 1kg bags every month) but I think they are very hit and miss on flavour and mix. For every good one I try, I get another that either tastes awful or mixes like crap. Tried a sachet of the Gold Standard the other week and thought it was brilliant! I wouldn't pay the full 45 quid for a tub though, at £25 its not far off MyProtein prices.

Great price, usually around £45 - £50 everywhere for this size 72 servings a tub aswell i think

[quote=leelukehope] Alot of people start out on optimum nutrition as it has a good reputation worldwide as being a high quality and good tasting protein. £25.99 is mega cheap. I know it's better than myproteins budget range, not sure about matrix. But you usually get what you pay for.

You'd be mad to buy this over MyProtein's own. Check Labdoor. Better quality from MyProtein surprisingly.

no chance. myprotein is bog standard stuff. the Hut Group in general pedal low quality stuff and their protein is no different.

is there a limit on how many can be ordered?
also, did anybody ever receive those myprotein 5kg orders that amazon had a month or two ago? I still haven't got mine. Spend about £250 on them and haven't received anything.

Is there that much difference between this and the powders from the likes of Matrix or MyProtein? Even at this price you get more for your money from Matrix powders by the looks of things?

Labdoor - a great place to check different protein ratings

Only my opinion, but I preferred the extreme choc over the double rich. The extreme choc tasted more chocolaty than double rich, akin to nesquik.

labdoor ratings are partly based on $ per serving, which at standard price myprotein wins. Nutritional wise all whey protein is pretty much same but ive always rather paid a little extra to get a better tasting one.
Last time i tried myprotein (cookies and cream) the taste wasn't good at all and didnt mix well. Though they may have improved since.
