There seems to be a good range of titles available....perfect for a night in. Credit valid until 31 January 2018!
How to Claim:
Click the ‘Get £4.49 off Now’ button below. Sign in to your Amazon account, if prompted. The Offer will automatically be applied to your account after signing in. Select any title that is available to rent or buy. The price on site will not change, but the £4.49 discount will automatically be applied to your rental purchase and the discounted price will be shown in Your Order History. If you would like to rent or purchase a movie, click ‘Rent Movie’ or ‘Buy Movie’. If you would like to purchase a TV episode, click ‘Buy Episode’. If you would like to purchase a TV season, click ‘Buy Season’. You can do this online or on your Fire device (Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick or Fire tablet). Enjoy! If you rented a title you have 30 days to start watching your rental, and 48 hours to finish once started. If you click the ‘Get £4.49 off Now’ button more than once, you may see the following message: ‘You are not eligible for this promotion. All offers have been redeemed. The item may be available for purchase at the regular price.’ In this case, the promotion has already been redeemed and applied to your account and you can proceed to rent or buy a title. Please note the discounted price is not visible in the purchase options, but it is applied at purchase and confirmed in your order email and shown within your order history at the discounted price.

Didn't work for me as I am an existing Prime customer but after speaking with Amazon about how they should be also rewarding exiting long term customers they agreed to credit my account with £10 to be used on anything.
cocogumbo to hammers81uk
14 Jul 17#34
So you moaned until you got what you wanted?! Expectation culture..
hammers81uk to cocogumbo
14 Jul 17#35
I didn't moan, I had something else I needed check regarding a return and asked if existing customer would qualify, when I was told no I simply asked if there was anything in place or planned for existing/long term Prime customers and was offered that.
cocogumbo to hammers81uk
14 Jul 17#37
Sorry but the way you've phrased your original comment - 'how they should be also rewarding exiting long term customers' suggests to me that you moaned until you got the same, or similar offer like a toddler stamping their feet as they can't have "the same". Lots of companies entice new customers in with offers.. look at Virgin or Sky, their new customers offers are dirt cheap as they know they'll have you for 12 months before you go and look for another new customer deal elsewhere.
I think that existing customers should absolutely be rewarded, I just think it's unbelievable how you expect to have this offer, just because it's there. Again, expectation culture..

Pull your neck in for goodness sake. I bet you use the word snowflake as well don't you? As I said there was no moaning involved, a simple polite question resulted in the credit, but that doesn't suit the narrative you want does it.

Snowflake? Lol, no. I don't read the Daily Mail

I do not qualify, but i'd imagine if you used chat and contacted Amazon to enquire about why you aren't qualified they'd be willing to manually put the offer on or offer some form of recompense. I might give it a go now.

Amazon do this all the time! I ordered some dishwasher tablets not realising delivery was August. Got in touch with them to see if they could change the date as it was subscribe n save but they couldn't.
The rep asked if they could do anything else, randomly asked for a credit and they gave me 5.00!

Is there a list of films you can buy for £4.49 or less?
if so they've changed how the offer works - I got this free credit last time it was offered & used it on 2 different rentals
IIRC you could still try it on say 2 rentals to see what happens because you can cancel the 2nd rental without charge (if a charge is showing) as long as you dont start watching it
