About Performance Sunglasses
Eye protection is vital for most outdoor activities, especially cycling as debri and spray from the road can be flicked up into your face. A pair of good quality sports sunglasses will help to keep the wind, insects, rain, spray and dust out of your eyes. Dark ones will cut down on light so you don't have to squint to see where you're going. All glasses should eliminate harmful UV rays, protecting your retinas from damage. So that you can protect your eyes in all conditions, glasses with interchangeable lenses are useful. Either that, or get yourself one

@3722 You heard of corporate sponsorship? You're indirectly paying for that top cyclist to wear these when you buy em, and you buy them because they do, bleh!? And Mikey I ain't whinging, I'm hopeful you'll enjoy your purchase as these are top end sunglasses. Yeah boi! :innocent:

What's brilliant about mankind is if that same photo was actually a no name Chinese brand item, people here would downvote it cold even at ~£3
But once they are Oakley's with their snazzy "Prizm" and "unobtainium" performance enhancing features they are suddenly hella valuable! Their marketing men must be circle-jerking with the champagne =D

Indeed, Oakley is such rubbish that the top cyclists in the grand tours choose them

Simple solution: don't buy them and stop whinging.

I see what you mean, and I don't like paying more than I have to for things. The issue with ~£3 Chinese import glasses is that you never know whether they actually have UVA and UVB protection, which is actually worse than not wearing glasses at all if they don't.

After thinking about these the whole day, I finally bought one. The radar posted above is OOS now but I like the colour on the lenses more on the jawbreker.

Must resist. Already have glasses. I can't work out if these are used as shades or just for clarity. Would these be good for sunshine riding or would you need different lenses as the pics has one with darker lenses and I take it these don't come with it?

I personally use for both. I need prescription glasses for day to day life but use these instead of contacts as everything is so so clear. I've used them for 2 summers and there has not been a day where I've wanted darker glasses for the sun

I'm so tempted but I already have a Shimano cycling glasses which suit me just fine. These do look really cool though. And a really good deal; heat.

Just to make everyone aware, these are MASSIVE, you need a face almost as big as the moon for them not to look ridiculous.
Try them on first big you can.

You want something polarized to reduce glare for driving lenses. Any of these:
Sick price. Not sure what the difference is between prizm road and prizm ruby is though. Thinking maybe it's 20% v 17% light transmission, but can't confirm it.
Would take a punt if they were in my preferred EV Zero frame :man:
