I wear AKU walking boots - had them years. Not cheap but there is some connection to the army and very comfortable. Meindl for walking shoes are good quality.

What are a good reliable brand for walking boots?

I ordered the blue hed & boring brown VERBERA in the sales sent back the hedgehog didn't feel nice at all but the VERBERA is lush only dog walk 60-80k a week. Also ordered the reebok & missed delivery today but will pick them up tom. Also ordered some trespass from here the other day ( waterproof walking shoes 15bar ) not expecting much but for that price will see if I'll ever buy them again. After all that HEAT ADDED Op :P

I bought the shoe version in blue, JL deal posted on here, and sent them straight back. Awful quality.

Incidentally received the Goretex Reebock walking shoe today, also posted on here, and they look really good.
Haven't had chance to wear them though.

I wore this pair when climbing Mt Kilimanjaro few months back. Very confortable.

A fashion brand now. A number of previously 'premium' brand shoes are now no better, or indeed as good as, the likes of Trespass/Regatta.
