£300+ arms/Zelda/Mario kart 8 or Splatoon 2 and I'm getting on the Switch train.

While I'm not completely impressed with the switch at this time, what's funny is that there seems to be a lot of kids playing more "mature games" such as CoD, while there's a bunch of adults that play more creative games that you'd think that would appeal more to kids since they generally have more maturity and play what's fun instead of trying to act more "mature".

Can it run GTA V at a decent FPS/graphics setting? I currently have a Shield and stream to my TV through a gtx 1080, it looks sick. Though you couldn't play it out and about.

Would be tempted to get one if it does (must be 30fps min). Though would still keep my Switch, it's an awesome bit of kit.

It's good to know such a deal has existed in the past but it doesn't really help me now. I only decided this week I'm going to pull the trigger on a Switch.
I'm in no rush though, I can wait for a deal like that.

The code with Amazon was when they matched Tesco direct codes. The other was through Zavvi which always have codes but rarely work on consoles.

The switch is so good, got mine through Very at 229 and use it more now than my ps4

I bought one last week. It's definitely overpriced for the hardware inside but I can play LoZ on my lunch break at work. Good enough for me.

Check argos ebay if it's OOS on the website. They've got loads at time of writing.

what kind of codes are you using?

I've got 2 Nintendo Switch consoles neither get used very much at the moment as games are very scarce. The console is great, mainly for the handheld mode.

However if you wait for codes etc then you can get them a lot cheaper. My cheapest I paid was £236.59 for the neon version brand new sold and dispatched by Amazon.

Cracking console, not put it down since I got it. Can't even describe how cool it is to play MK8 or BOTW lying in bed on a Sunday morning.

I would get the Lego Undercover bundle though unless your buying it for a <10yr old.

Cars 3 is actually the better game to take if you don't want it or Lego City. CEX will give £21 cash for Cars, or £16 for Lego

I wouldn't hold your breath. they are selling like hot cakes at full price. Can't see them dropping near Xmas when mario has been release ect.

Yes I know it's not the best switch deal we've ever seen, but it's good deal for now. Hopefully we'll see better deal over black friday or christmas.

I already own a switch it was more of heads up people specifically looking for Cars 3

jk I actually think its a good deal since it is somewhat cheap and hard to get hold atm for a decent price with a game, but cars 3 though? maybe like splatoon 2 pre order or MK8D

Cars 2 was actually a surprisingly good game!

The Switch is great but i would consider getting Cars 3 on something else, as its a very bad port.
