Looks decent but I bet the coffee tastes the same as other Nespresso machines. I'd put that kind of money towards a bean to cup machine.

Yes, 30 pence for a cup of lovely coffee in about 30 seconds with no mess - absolute rip off !!

Just curious how do you guys feel this one compares to #2 in this article? The Lavazza Blue Capsules are cheaper than Nespresso and does have great reviews. Opinions?

Good price, shame OOS. Strange how the other colours are so expensive.

There seem to be a few trolls on this thread. Anyway, out of stock now. This machine is really for the looks as they all produce the same quality coffee (or as good as)

avoid anything nespresso . Customer service appalling and if machine goes wrong they don't want to know . Waste of money

They only have one customer number, service has always been second to none and the one machine they needed to fix they took away and lent me an alternative.
I once had a crushed package talks to Yodel they replaced the whole order next day and let me keep the 80% of the original order that was fine.

Total waste of money. Get a proper espresso maker which will cost about the same. You then have the freedom to use whatever coffee you like (ground or beans if you get a £40 burr grinder) without the guilt of all of the waste packaging and built-in obsolescence of these products.

each to their own; no guilt on packaging - mine are recycled; if you regularly have coffee from across the range then it's just not practical to do the same with beans; and the mess/cleaning up. I upgraded from a 'proper espresso machine' to Nespresso, never looked back (been many years now).
No faff, good coffee, cheaper than popping into Pret/Costa/whatever each morning as I don't have time in mornings.

I have an espresso machine, drippers, burr grinder and hand grinders but still find this 1000x easier and just as tasty, plus recycling the capsules with the store when you go by more so no guilt and tasty coffee.

I have to agree the machines are generally really expensive but kitchen aid stuff is anyways! The coffee is actually very nice and if you got one of the machines that do the milk too it's great if you suffer lactose intolerance of other milk related allergies!
The one thing i've noticed with the Nespresso capsules is a less acidic taste unlike many bean to cup and espresso machines, just personal opinion there not backed up by actual science XD

Really?
Nespresso give free bags that can either be dropped off at their shops, dropped at any collect+ or collected from your house for free. They take the recycling of the aluminium very seriously as it can be infinitly recycled.

Great price - seen the colour in reality and I have no idea who's kitchen will have matching appliances.
Pop into Aldi and try their Nespresso compatible capsules. £1.71 for ten and very good too ( according to me and Which?).

Oooh, pretty! Can't vote hot on pod machines though, as it's 4g of packaging for every 7g of coffee.
Decent price, looks nice... I'll just abstain from voting cold.
Sod it, heat from me.

Is this the only time in history when there is no offer to get loads of free pods?

Guess I'm just cheap! Our office of 40 people spends over £500 per month on it!
On balance, it's way better than a cup of instant, obviously, but I can get a cup of instant coffee for less than 5p and I don't have all that coffee and aluminium which goes to waste afterwards.
We did do the pod recycling at one point, but the guy never remembered to pick up our waste.
Yeah, I'm just cheap. Quite happy to drink the office's coffee for free, but wouldn't spring the £60 per month that me and my missus would consume.

We have this in our office. It's generally been quite reliable and makes decent coffee - as good as our upstairs pod machine at any rate. The price of coffee pods would make your eyes bleed mind you...
Voted hot on price alone, btw, as we paid over £200 for ours.

I agree. I'd personally prefer to have a traditional espresso machine, but for someone looking at this machine, it's a great price.

I got this white one price matched by JL https://www.go-electrical.co.uk/kitchenaid-nespresso-artisan-coffee-machine-frosted-pearl-5kes0503bfp.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjw-ezKBRCGwqyK0rHzmvkBEiQAu-_-LIhZGWoESIk0U8daU4PYJHQcQCA9c5UNb4FfL_BsEA8aAnzI8P8HAQ for £190. £40 more than thte red but then the wife won't moan that it matches nothing in the kitchen
