Just seen this nectar offer on my offers page. Literally just load it up and the next time you spent £1 or more on anything, you get 100 bonus points. Not sure if its nationwide or not, hope it is.

A couple of weeks ago, my offer was 500 ponts on next shop at Sainsburys. I bought something but my bonus points say 0. Will need to speak to Nectar CS once the 28 days are up.

There is no pattern. I have had 1, 4, 10 all sorts. All different number of points as well.
Best ones are money off £30 or £60 spend. I have loads of those vouchers for some reason.
this will be account specific. often available but it may say the next 4 swipes or 10 swipes depending on how generous they feel

Not very generous.
Mines only after 10 swipes.:disappointed:

Do people still collect Nectar? Since they halved the points and put their prices up it doesn't seem worth bothering with

That's why it's not worth collecting nectar points at sainsburys but the bonus offers from elsewhere are decent
I've racked up a few hundred pounds of points this year with significantly less outlay

So split your shopping into 4 small shops and get 50p? Not sure if it's worth my time.

Ah and to the Famous Nectar ""' Loyalty""" scheme the very same scheme that's Outdated...Not of Value anymore...but more importantly the very same scheme that you have to Rigorously check to Ensure the Few Offers that are Not Bad have been Added to your Account....isn't it strange when you redeem these offers with various shops.... Sainsbury's in particular but let's Not forget our friends at Expedia...it takes an Average of at least 60 SIXTY DAYS for the very same points to Appear on your card.. Hmm I wonder why Nectar and its Associate's are So Slow to PAY BACK...is it that they hope you will Forget and Not Notice....I think so...but wait...I was Prolific Collector of Nectar...£250 on my card now says I did go for it...but after the last 6 similar promotions - usually with Sainsbury's...No Payment to Card...despite marking as an Alert in Diary....and having the Absolute Inconvenience of having to phone Nectar....on the Very Expensive 08...Customer Number and then having to deal with some very very Unhelpful Nectar Representative s I say...with the above mentioned Evidence + More if needed....Don't Bother...Very Poor Value..& probably around 75% chance of Payment....and remember I was a Committed + Tenacious Collector of Nectar....No More though..

Your input is appreciated, despite the over-zealous use of speech marks and capital letters.

I regularly get 600 points if spending £30 - so 10% off.
Also their bonus points last year were ridiculously good. E.g. I bought some Braun Oral B brushes for £12 and got £10 worth of points back.
Tesco sent me vouchers that expired! Is there any way to accumulate points with Tesco and not have them send money off coupons which expire and are easy to lose?
I've got almost £150 of Nectar points, and I think I earned about £80-90 of that in the last year because of that bonus event they ran.

It's got to be THE worst loyalty scheme out there I can't believe people even bother. My friend is obsessed with it and even saves big purchases and spend more to get nectar points. I can't for the life of me see why this is a good idea. At least with Tesco they actually send me money off vouchers which seem a reasonable reward compared to what I spend there. And their scan and shop is truly awful. Doesn't it defeat the object to have to queue to pay? Tesco' implementation is so much easier. Shame sainos is my closest supermarket or I'd never set foot in there.

100 points here for the 8 Shops and only three days in which to do it, that works out at 6p off per shop, they can go and jump forth and X.
Gave up with nectar months ago, gone back to Tesco and Clubcard, Shopping is cheaper than Sainburys anyway,

Nowt on mine either, but prompted me to look at the app (which I rarely do) and just got 2500 points for linking my Nectar card with Photobox and buying a £10 canvas from them, plus 300 points for a first spend at Saisnbury's local, which I'll do tomorrow. Result :-)
Indirectly, a good post OP ;-)
