You guys are truly rotten, just old, bitter, jealous people with nothing better to do than come here and try bring people down with them.

You said you was in e-commerce, you failed clearly.

I am a bit of a legend

My attitude has got me this far already.

Have a nose all you like, I'm autistic and weird and find it hard to socialise and connect with people.

I do have a gift for making money and repairing things though.

Again, your basis for assumption is wrong like your mentality

When did I say I was an e-commerce legend? You were the one spouting that haha. Just had a nose at some of your posts and the comments you have made to other members... Seems it's your attitude that sucks XD
Kyballion
5 Jul 17 #213
Neither do I. I mentioned the time because I can't get to grips that someone can wake up and still feel like this.

Your more of an experiment now to try and understand why people are so sad.

I don't see how you can make assumptions about people's life's without having met them.

I simply stated I run 2 Business's and now a third. Why can't you get your head around that concept? It doesn't matter what you assume.

My wife and I live comfortably, let me guess, she's imaginary as well.

Your the one who claims you were an e-commerce legend, and call out keyboard warrior comments, yet is going back to a job and keeps diverting from any questions.

If you ever had a business, you done something wrong and to me and everyone else, it's clear, your attitude sucks.

Businesses are meant to provide you a platform for your time and money.

If it didn't, I would close it down

My first business started very small, it turned to a dropshipping business eventually after building a strong relationship with my supplier.

That business now is mainly operated by API's, custom software solutions and a small team I hire from the Philippines.

As you can see, stock, warehouse, accounting in Xero, customer support is all covered, mostly digitally but I obviously keep my eye on things.

My second business is supplying under the same industry.

My third new business, I intend to do the same that I did with my first.

But you need to be able to build relationships with people, honest and open ones.

You can't build a brand or business thinking like you do.

You are the keyboard warrrior and you are definitely bitter.

I would be too waking up at 6 and sitting in traffic going to a job I hated. I know, I have done it.

Peace
PAULTRD
5 Jul 17 #212
I work in the City so yes I wake up early to avoid the traffic although I don't see what relevance the time people wake up makes to the conversation! Not bitter, I just don't don't have time for people that pretend they are something they are not.
Kyballion
5 Jul 17 #211
You wake up at 6.30 in the morning and still feel like this.

Geez, you really sound bitter and broken.

Yeah, my third business, deal with it.

5 Jul 17 #208
I never even said this.

I said, if I have booked for a contractor to come out on a specific day.

Then does not turn up after I have waited.

I have incurred a loss.

Not turning up is fine, given they have provided sufficient notice but to keep you in all day is not going to go down to well with me.

If a washing machine breaks down 13 months in and only have a 12 month warranty, I will get it repaired for free.

This is who I am. I have high expectations because I give only 100% to each of my customers and clients.

Unfortunately Britain which was the head of and known for its customer service and hospitality has taken a huge u turn and you struggle to find good customer service anymore.

Something I take advantage of in my business.

You have made this assumption about what is legal, not me.
Kyballion
5 Jul 17 #207
You are arguing with yourself which I find quite ironic since I don't really care what you have to say.

I have provided an example.

I am not a lawyer and do not need to be one to speak in a court or to run my businesses.

Instead, your the one arguing, show me in the law where it states price mismatches for online e-commerce.

Its common sense and safe to assume they have not even touched up on legislation regarding third party price matching software vendors.

It was quite common to walk into a shop and pick an item up and if the price was wrong the cashier would match that price.

It still happens now but much less than before.

You was running a business.

I have been in for about 16 years now, I started on a small scale at a very young age.

So what, who cares?

You might have been doing it wrong all this time, I regularly see 50 year olds who are still getting it wrong.

What industry was you in?
What was your turnover?
How much was your business valued at.

If I am wrong

Please explain why Amazon did not cancel the orders or attempt to chase up customers.

This was publicly stated.

It a great example and proves you are wrong.

The above reasons are why.

They firstly cannot take you to court, for what?

Buying from their store

Who is to blame?

Amazon, the software provider, the e-commerce store.

Man if you really don't get this.

Maybe it was a good thing you left it behind.

You sound like you had a hard time in your business.
julieallen
5 Jul 17 #206
Just because a company chooses not to fight a claim or that it settles as its cheaper than going to court doesn't mean legally they are wrong.
As I said you are wrong in your reading of the law if you believe what you have posted on this thread.

Make your mind up, backtracking or not knowing what you are talking about?

I'm fully aware of costs in running an ecommerce business, I was running one before you I'll bet.

Feel free to post a link to the legislation you are relying on though for the specific topic, ie they have to supply unless they can prove a loss.
Kyballion
5 Jul 17 #205
If a company is turning over £500,000 a year, and working with 20% profit markups.

Then how could you possibly show that a handful of sales has caused a loss for the business.

You do not work out loss per sale in accounting, you work this out annually.

Any conscious business will take out insurance to protect from online fraud and loss.

As said before, the Amazon glitch is a prime example.

Plus, who wants to cough up an invoice for a working day.

I hear comments from people like you all day, you can't do this you can't do that.

I achieve 95% of the things I put my mind too.

That includes out of warranty repairs, wiping off illegal fines from companies if I feel it's extortion and claiming money back from anyone wasting my time.

My income per hour can be proven, so when Virgin or some other contractor decide not to turn up at my premises for some reason

I simply send an invoice with the amount owed and will always get a response.

If I don't, I open a small courts claim which usually get resolved.

But then again, I am completely wrong.

I'm fabricating everything.

I don't know anything and have nothing better to do with my time.

I share this info with the people who are conscious enough to read between the lines.

There are people in my industry absolutely killing it, the people earning the most are doing little work.

They achieve this by a magical part of business called leverage.

But as they say, just because the monkeys left , don't mean the circus still not in town.

You sound like you have worked yourself to a pulp, try working smarter you might realise that your trolling is not putting money in your bank
Kyballion
4 Jul 17 #204
Is this the time the trolls come out of the wood work?

You clearly have never seen the amount of accounting that goes into an e-commerce business.

It would be very costly and difficult

If you pay for an item, then recieve the item and paid a reduced cost because of a glitch.

The company has the time in between to cancel the order.

But if the order has been received by the customer.

They cannot lawfully do anything.

If my business working day cost £500, I will invoice for the loss of work I have recieved and my time in organising a return for the company.

You can spout whatever nonsense you want.

But last year's glitch issue on amazon at the Christmas time proved this point, many of the orders were sent on Prime services which meant it was too late for them to stop the packages and cancel the orders.

The companies took the loss.

It was cheaper for them in the long run, a handful of companies even went bust.

Plus, you know how hard it is to prove liability?

Of course my understanding is wrong.

It makes me laugh, you guys respond with what can only be described as estrogen fuelled bigotry making comments about me and the fact I may own a business.

Yet, you have nothing else better with your time.

I shop at Lidl, I spend time here finding bargains, I'm a normal person and starting from humble beginnings I don't see no need to start shopping in marks and Spencers for food.

Remember, HUKD is a business, used by many Business's, why would it be of any suprise business owners would be using the site to their own advantage?

Plus, I know a few people including myself who have made a nice bit of side cash because of this site

Last essay I promise.

Just need to feed your trolls before you latch onto something else.

4 Jul 17 2 #203
Forgetting about anything else for a moment, unless they got the boots free, don't pay for shipping or labour costs, I don't think it would be had to prove they suffered loss.

Apart from that, your understanding of contract law is wrong.

Yes I am still in need of an ego massage every now and then

I think that's where your going wrong, making the assumption that every single business requires lots of time.

The reason I left my last job and never looked back was because of the lack of time.

I would happily share my trading name and Ltd Business name, however I know how spiteful some can be.

Why so butt hurt that someone who sounds more stupid than you might have a business or two?

I have all the time in the world and it's a beautiful thing, if my business meant more time, I would drop it in a heart beat.

You can earn thousands a month but you can't get a refund on your time.

I officially have 3 business's starting from last Friday. The more business I do, the less I work.

If you can't understand, maybe it's time you left your job or quit your current business

Please do not try and throw your google accredited law certification on the table

It won't run with me, not in the slightest.

I run 2 business in practise, not in theory, I know how the game works and have a good sense for business law, because I have to.

Unless the company can prove that this glitch was caused because of something out of their control and also provide accounting to show a loss for the company regarding this particular glitch

They have no basis to fight for it.

They won't even try to do this due to the cost involved and realise it will be cheaper to let it go.

There is a huge difference between a bank accidentally sending you money and you purchasing something you intended to buy, what law school did you study at?

You clearly haven't studied contract law and if you have, I couldn't care less, I have seen it all before, been told many times I can't and then did.

The difference is, I don't talk your language and I don't think in theory, there is a stark contrast to what is being taught in academia and to reality.

Hence the next generation of 2 2 zombies taking over.

My apologies if you have been triggered.

Organisations are usually built in fragmented ways, you have warehouse pickers, drivers, managers, marketing teams and so forth.

If the company is big enough, chances are they could overlook this within a timeframe.

Yes, even if it has been blasted silently on the web

The second some numpty rings them, you have bought it to their attention and they will sort it out.

Silence is golden

Next time try it we might actually get somewhere

I have picked up a 42 inch for 68.99 including free delivery, a Vogel's Wall mount for £3.68 and a shopping basket of clothes with a discount bug which reduced the total from £360 to £80

I am sure if I had rang them before hand they would have immediately rectified the issue

Payment process asks for too much personal info than it would require usually. Why would they need to know how long have I have been living at my present and previous address? my date of birth etc. I'd rather stay out of it. Good luck to those who go for it...stay safe

Chances of getting these are very slim, their system will flag unusual behaviour and once investigated they'll cancel all orders. I figure If the order goes straight to a fulfilment centre who are just packing and sending then I suppose some will slip through the net but...
