Maybe you're still trying to play the free "weekend"? Sometimes the marketplace gets confused I've noticed - on MS website it separates everything a little better. Like someones mentioned there's now 8 days on the sale, so could be worth waiting a day or two and seeing if it sorts itself out.

Yes that's right. I purchased God of War 3, Shadow of Mordor and Ratchet and Clank. So didn't work out too bad for me.

Don't you still have to top up using gift cards though, so if that is all you want you still have to put a bit more on. And if you put on even more for future sales, then you can't use that trick again on the same account can you?

I'm sure it was a couple quid on the US playstation store a few days ago.

The exchange rate makes its about £3.10 and by the time you've added any extras like card fees, tax, transaction fees, etc you wouldn't be saving much if anything tbh

I felt exactly the same about it. Very repetitive after a short amount of time. The environment is also dull, unimaginative, and never changes throughout the game. I only got a few hours into it before I'd had more than enough.

That's a real deal breaker for me. If it would have been able to use the same game save I would have picked this up again as I didn't finish it the first time round, but I cannot be bothered to stay all over again.

Had a email saying its free this weekend, so why people paying for it, why not wait just 1 day and get for free.

This game was incredibly boring for me. Mindless hours and hours of bashing orcs. Storyline suffers greatly. Just a caution.

It's not a traditional RPG, more like a mixture of Assassins Creed for all the climbing and Rocksteady's Batman for the combat and upgrading. The story's average, the combat's good - not quite as tight as Batman's but still better than most pretenders - and it has a really fun mechanic in the Nemesis system. It's a damn fine game; probably my favourite game of 2014 after Dark Souls 2.

Will this work through the US store like it does the UK store, can you play the game as normal no problems even though it's purchased from the US?

If you have the normal (non GOTY) version of the game, your save won't work with this version.

I replaced my sunset overdrive with the digital version and season pass invlduded and it worked fine. Not sure if GOTY is different though ?

Anyone that is thinking of getting rid of their hard copy for the digital bear in mind the game save data is not compatible (so you can not continue current game) on the good side new set of achievements to unlock.

I think you are right, I bought DR3 from the Canadian store a few months back fine with PayPal and my PayPal is also linked to a US address on my Xbox account but failing on me too. Not sure if it is an Xbox account issue or because my PayPal is still a UK PayPal even though it is linked to a US address on the Xbox billing section (which worked before).

One of my favourites, takes a while to build momentum with powering up but feel invincible pulling off a heap of combos when you have! Highly recommend if you like assasins creed type games.
