It's been on offer both on Steam and Microsoft store for the past week. It was only a matter of time before the PS4 version was discounted. Unfortunately it has not dropped as low as the other two stores (but is a saving of 80%). But, if you are a PS4 user, it is still a good offer. Good time to get it in readiness for Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

heat for the best price, but this is rather pathetic when compared to the Microsoft deal.
hmmmmm, is it worth it for the Pro Enhancements and Nemesis forge?????
It will probably be on PS+ next month

I also think it will be on PS plus within the next couple of months as the sequel will be dropping in October.

It would have been nice if there was at least a PS Plus bonus discount that would help it match the Microsoft price. Still the best price for PS4, so will likely get it within the week.

Heat worth noting I bought physical for same price last week - from Base I think - some like me, may prefer physical at least for re-sale value if you don't like/ want to sell/ if it goes on ps plus

think the sale ends today.. I picked it up for $3.99 with PS plus trial and a few VR games too... couldn't believe this price considering all the other prices have been sub £5

US PSN store had a great price last week, linked to the Nemesis Forge trailer. This has now ended.
I considered the US PSN store route, but i was concerned that my save data from the UK GOTY disc version would not load.
Does any know if this would be a problem, just in case another deal comes up in US or Canada stores?

The save file shouldn't be an issue at all it's not downloaded as a "US version" of the game just the game itself which is the same throughout the PS store. I got it through the US ps store and I'm from the UK there's no issue with gameplay (it's available to play by all on my PS4) and the save file isn't affected because you can just play it on your normal account if you wanted to. That's what I think anyway I'm pretty sure tbh

i love that by using psn from Britain & USA I can save a fortune on videogames, i could save more from other regions if i so wanted to, who pays full price for videogames any more

Actually I'm 99% sure the opposite of this is true. If you buy a game on the US store you get the 'Americas' version of the game whereas if you get it from the UK store you get the European version of the game. Saves are then linked to the version of the game you play and which region it is from.
If you look at Shadow of Mordor on the UK and US store for example they are 37.9GB and 36.8GB respectively as the European version has audio and subtitles for more languages - so they are effectively different versions of the same game rather than one universal version.
So basically if you have a European version of the game (disc or digital), the save will only load in another European copy. The same is true with DLC - if you buy the European version of the game only European DLC will work with it, as again a different region version is treated as a separate game.
The following is a good list of which country belongs to which region:
If it was deal of the week at £9.99 before MS and Steam and US PS offered it for less than £5 then I may have bought it, but the price here is fishy, as out of sale, it costs $19.99 on both US Xbox and PS stores, but in the UK it costs £23.99 on Xbox but £49.99 on UK PS?
It is not a US / UK thing as Xbox gets the nice prices, and it is not Xbox / Playstation thing as US PS gets the nice price. Only UK PS players are being shafted here
No way I am buying it at £9.99 I do not condone this huge difference in price to UK PS players. I will probably be cancelling my preorders to Shadow of War, and buy the GOTY version in a few years for £9.99
The whole point of this deal is for people to get ready for Shadow of War, but if I am not buying it now, then will not be ready for it.

I played game twice on Xbox one via standard edition plus season pass and as GOTY version offered more achievements bought that and played it again, been waiting ages for a decent deal on PS4 to play it. through there, then was gutted when not on sale in UK when received email from Monolith that it was on sale on Playstation, Xbox and Steam, plus Xbox and Steam get a free play weekend. I almost went through palava of dping a US account and buying it for $3.99 but thought it would be on sale on UK PS soon enough, then spotted it was Deal of the Week, and double the price, and gutted again.
why not preorder? You pay no money until release and can cancel if change mind, plus if price drops temporarily you get bargains, I saved £20 on an Assassins Creed Limited Edition version, and about £30 on Watch Dogs Dedsec edition on PC, and I did not even know it, but preorders captured the temporary huge price drop as Amazon try and be competitive.
I preordered the Mythril Edition for £199.99, on PS4, Xbox ONE version was out of stock, it is now out if stock. If I cancel will lose order.
Hopefully the first game will return on sale in double discounts for Ps+ users in 2-4 weeks, on PSN, or better yet be a free game with PS+, then will have time to play and probably keep order.
I know this is a good deal at £9.99 but following the Xbox prices and US price, this deal and deals like this (eg Doom on PS4 is £11.99 but on Xbiox is £9.99 but that is more OKish as UK PS are knocking off 40% but Xbox are knocking off 50%, whereas both UK PS and UK Xbox knocked off 80% on Mordor but full price Mordor is £49.99 on UK PS and £23.99 on UK Xbox) should be ignored, as who likes to be charged more than necessary? If people buy into this then UK PS will just keep charging more.
Also when I asked Ask PS about all this with the prices they said "Please send this info to [email protected] and we will have a look in to this for you ^ES"
i sent the info to them on 13th Jul and just got reply back yesterday saying they are technical but my query is PR/Marketing.
i also send emails to Monolith / Shadow of War game and Warner Bros, and get ZERO feedback even a lame copy and paste response.
what with all this I certainly will not be giving money to UK Playstation or Monoloith or Warner Bros. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and never got bored and been looking forward playing through a third time on PS4 and drooling over the Mythril Edition but now they they just show they do not care and just like to rob UK Players, and I now feel disgust when I see the Mythril Edition, so I will not be supporting this. If no decent price on Mordor PS4 by the time Shadow of War releases, I will not be buying it on release.

so you think they are robbing UK people of 9.99 when you put in a pre order of the mithril edition worth £200? Sounds like you are a little bit obsessed having already played the game 'twice' and are considering cancelling a £200 pre-order just because you don't think the price of the old game is fair. GG.

No it is not the £9.99 price, but the fact they are charging more than double everywhere else. UK PSN price is £49.99 UK Xbox price is £23.99. US PSN and US Xbox price is $19.99 when not on sale.
if UK PSN sold it for 40% off from £24.99 and it be £9.99 then that would be fair.
sony responded to my query and they say pricing is down to warner bros. It now makes it easy to boycott the game alone than Sony and boycott everything!
i have contacted warner bros and monolith loads of times and not a single response, which is utter contempt, and they do not deserve any sales.
