I got one a few days ago and though it is not as good as my Roberts Stream 93i or Stream 205 given that it is a third of the price of those radios it is excellent value and I would not hesitate in recommending at around the £50 pound mark.
. Sonically it is not as good as the Roberts Radio but I use it in conjunction with my 30 years old HiFi effectively adding DAB, internet radio & music streaming from my Synology NAS to the package. Although there is an app to control it called "Lifestream II" to my surprise it is identical to another app for Roberts Radio called "UNDOK". Either app controls all my internet radios as the apps are simply rebadged Frontier Silicon controls. It also has its own remote control.

Whats the Android Apps, it mentions it in the title but says nothing about it in the read up. I dont understand does it have Android on it where are the apps how do you put them on, its all very vague.
"sound control of internet radio optional also convenient via App based on Android ™ or iOS Smartphones / Tablets 1 - eg setting the volume, radio channel selection and more."
Sounds like a posh way to turn it up or down or change stations its very misleading.

Any advantage to this over the echo i got yesterday given that all the radio stations will be available on the echo via tunein? Thanks.

probably sounds better (if you are talking about the dot - otherwise the only benefit is the screen and buttons but does a lot less) oh and it will still work with no internet when using DAB

You cannot add an app to the radio. The only app is one that you download and put on your android or IOS device. This gives you the ability to remotely control the radio.

I third this. I have one too. I was considering the Roberts one but like the guy says, this is a fraction of the price.

I bought the cheaper single speaker non-DAB version, the Medion E85038 (it has stereo output for connection to a hifi system). Very happy with the sound quality and performance. I like the addition of the rj45 lan connection with this model - great for use with homeplugs.

Yeah I got the single-speaker version for £30 well worth it as a kitchen radio that "just works". We listen to 96fm from Perth all the time!

Is there a streaming radio with a record function on it?

Been thinking about buying the Roberts 93i for a while now, but the price kept putting me off. But this at 1/3rd of the price of the Roberts is too tempting.
Ordered & heated, thanks for the deal.

Does it have bluetooth? I want a bluetooth speaker with a dab built in. Even better if its internet radio saves caining the bluetooth on your ipad

I realise this has expired, but I have all my music on a networked hard drive connected to my Wi-Fi router, therefore easily accessible with this - it even displays album art on the screen.

What's the sound like
Also does this have a remote or Spotify
TheBlueWhale

Sound acceptable, Does have a remote. Does not have Spotify. The Roberts 93i would meet your requirements however note that it has to be a paid for Spotify account. The free one does not work.

Not showing up when I look at Medion's ebay shop. Perhaps you could post a new link. Incidentally Medion is apparently a German company. I purchased mine via Medion.co.uk . It was also shipped via Germany but delivered within 48 hours

Such a shame about no Spotify and yes I have a Spotify paid account
I remember a medion Spotify machine unless they stopped doing that
How much is the Roberts one ?:disappointed:
The cheapest Stream 93i I can find is £139 @ www.electricshop.com but the street price is £149 pound and if you were to go for that richersounds.com give you a 6 year guarantee. You can also download the manual as a PDF to see if it does what you need

Pretty happy with this internet/dab/fm radio. Sound is a bit average, deffo need to set your own bass & treble settings rather than using the various preset EQ ones.
Everything works as it should, cant complain for only £57.
