thought they would've brought a 5.1.2 Atmos kit by now since now enabled in Windows 10, games should be adopting it soon as movies have been for a while. Think Overwatch has it for PC.
Have this in my lounge connected to the PS4. Fantastic piece of kit - simple to setup, looks very discreet, sounds great. Highly recommended.
(In before someone says this isn't any good and you need an amp, separates etc.)

I guess you have a point... for someone who hasnt heard how amps and separates sound. Also why would you need multiple hdmi, hd audio decoding , quality DAC, video processing , room correction , multiple inputs and outputs , online streaming and future upgradability, when you can have plastic speaker design from the 90s with wired disco remote from the 80s that is loud and proud. For a power ranger its great

If you connect via 3.5mm, does the sound come out of all 5 speakers?

I have these hooked upto my Creative Sound Blaster Z sound card, set it to Fata1ity custom settings and be prepared to be blown away. You will be looking at £240 all in for some serious sounds!

Imagine you'd fit proper speakers to that amp, rather then those small plastic shells. I was thinking to upgrade to these(my old z2300) ended up buying two tannoy mercury v1 to replace the satellites. That was WOW hooked to Asus xonar u7

I got the z506 and the xonar dx, and for the life of me I cannot get 5.1 to work imho they are a load of tosh.

I have these speakers connected to my PC. Great speakers. Awesome sound. The control panel seems to have been an after thought however - it's far too light, cheaply built and constantly moves around - doesn't match the quality of the rest of the system. I would have also liked the headphone socket to be on the front rather than the side - this annoys me. The sound this produces though is immense and makes it a great system to own. The speaker system I have connected to my TV cost me thousands and I'm used to decent sound - the speaker cables alone cost more than this entire system. Given the price of this system, what's included and the sound it produces, I have to say I'm amazed by it. Hearing this system in action actually puts a smile on your face.
I bought this for £149.99 from Amazon 8 months ago when it was posted on here - extremely happy with the price I paid for it.

I bought these in 2013. No problems until lately when the main unit is turning itself off... Possibly because it's overhearing... Doesn't always come back on, even after being off for a day. Seems really temperamental now.

People that think these are good clearly haven't heard good quality kit. All well and good for some but let's not pretend a lump of coal is a diamond.

It's not bad for the price though. You'd be paying more for a decent AV alone.

Just received a set of these with no functioning rear outputs (fails it's own internal sound test).
Sound was pretty good from the speakers which did work, but not going to be requesting a replacement on this one. Time to invest in some proper (more expensive :disappointed:) kit.
