Use this on xbone, had it for over a year. Well worth it at this price. Mine is set up on a Playseat Challenge, so much more fun to play games like Forza and actually makes harder games like PCars enjoyable as you can keep cars on track unlike with a controller! Just been using it for RX cars in Dirt4 and it is awesome.

Yes i did, they said it had gone up to £250 but i paid this price. Struggling to use it though. Pedals are too close to me and wheel too far. Might have to get a stand but could make sure elsewhere if i shifted stuff.
did you already pay before you got to the store? do you think anyone would have a chance at doing it now?

Got the wheel mate. They said oh this has gone up to £250 thinking they wouldnt honour my price, but got it for £130 so all good.Spent two hours trying to get it to work as the up shift paddle wouldnt work, but for some reason after plugging it into my laptop then back to desktop, working fine.Playing Project Cars and really struggling... Seems massive amount of understand and the wheel keeps 'snapping' the opposite way i am turning. Makes my hands hurt. Any ideas?
did you get them to honour it after the sale ended?

There are videos of people using the G29 with PSVR on Driveclub VR and Dirt Rally so I assume the PS4 has enough ports. I'll be using mine with the Rift
Yes mate any new games coming out really. If that is supported then brilliant as i should be getting that for the PS4.
Do you know if you can use this and PS VR at the same time? If a VR racing game comes out for the PS4.

Do you mean the upcoming Gran Turismo? I have no doubt it'll be compatible since the Beta version supported the G29. There are older PC titles where the G29 won't be supported but depending on the game, there's a good chance the G27 profile will work well for it.

Cheers mate, will probably buy this. Dont play the games enough to spend more than this really. I wont be getting the gear stick so just the wheel and pedals.
Was just making sure this would work with future titles. Wondering why there is no Gran Turismo listed. Saw this on their news page and think maybe they block wheels from Logitech to promote their own. £700 for a gaming wheel......

Looking at getting this but always put off by the price. £130 is a lot of money for a steering wheel and pedals.
I have done some research and have two links for anyone else interested.
First is a review and second is the compatibility list. Review from 2 years ago... this on sale due to a replacement?
Just wondering how long this will keep working with future games.
Can't remember but wasnt this £80 from Argos last year? Remember they sold out very quickly but cant quite remember if it was this one.
For me i'd be playing Project Cars on the PC mainly, but the 2nd link below has the compatibility list and there are not many games there. The first link has a review, saying you can map the keys. Anyone done this on the PC with this wheel? I'll be getting the PS4 version since i have a PS4.
The thing is with mid to high end wheels & accessories is you have to set a budget in mind that they don't really depreciate and only Logitech seem to have flash sales like this.
It's been cheaper for a day or two at a time, but it's had much longer periods at a higher price.
The G29 /920 is £156 for a mid range wheel, a good set of pedals and supposedly not a great shifter.
The problem is with Thrustmaster you're paying £250 for a T300 which is a better wheel, plastic base (and supposedly not great) pedals and no shifter.
You can then go £330 for a T500 which is better again, with the Pro pedals, and no shifter.
The Thrustmaster shifter is around £110, and the Pro pedals also around £110
I found myself wondering how much I should be spending with Thrustmaster until this deal came along.
Admittedly it is only around £25 saving on the normal Currys bundle (if you include shifter), but I was only looking over the last couple of weeks and the £25 was enough to sway me, considering I was looking at ~£400 with Thrustmaster

You may not need 50 games, but you'd think you'd have more than about 8 (or how ever many someone listed) to play during its life cycle. The pc and ps3 have so many more compatible games.

The brake pedal is kind of more challenging being firm...might look into modding it if reversible! Must say though this deal is good for the product but for summers Amazon equivalent of black Friday it's piss poor! I got it all with the shifter for £130 in Currys not that long back and sure before that it was cheaper again. Amazon is having a laugh.

The bar is fine, no problems with the Wheel stand setup so far, plus its a solid piece of kit, doesn't move at all on carpet, not sure how it would be on wood or tile though .

I use this sitting on the sofa, can be folded and tucked behind the sofa when not in use.
Keep an eye on this, Constantly drops Price now and again.. Nothing Prime Deal associated with it yet but the PS Branded One looks very cool and would match the G29 Perfect.
Most welcome, Enjoy It's a good price for that combo!

I think its an excellent setup for the money. I did manage to get mine for all 3 for £145 from Curry's about 4 months ago.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to go for the G29 + shifter, I've also heard of various T300 faults, multiple people returning more than one unit in the space of a month.
Thanks for posting this as I was hoping for a deal on one of these today.

Marky264 to drasim
10 Jul 171#4
I've owned 3 x T300's in the last couple months. All Brand New GT Edition ones as well from Amazon. All of which broke within a space of a couple weeks using the GT Sport Beta. I was very disappointed with the Q/C As clearly there was a dodgy batch. Some users have had the T300 from New when released and still going strong but then there's the unlucky few like myself who have Just had constant barricades. If you're in the Market for a T500 they have an Amazon Warehouse Deal - Like New for £290 Delivered I believe which is great value. Still not cheap enough for me to bite at but If you want to be real hardcore then the T-GT coming this Fall will suit that appetite but at a Cost... £699.99...!
