Last time ,I got a amex discount , the removed my other discount. So if you any other amazon discount don't couple with amex. And check online with amex if you got discount or not.

I spoke to Amex and they explained that I have an Express Rewards card, not a Membership Rewards card. Only Membership Rewards cards are eligible for this offer. HTH

Other reason it may not work is that the discount only seems to apply on items sold by Amazon (exc. Warehouse products).

it won't work - only 1 use per Amazon a/c
however, you can use the same Amex card multiple times if you have his & hers a/cs, the kids' a/cs etc
got it 4x - but this is old news, ISTR it started before Xmas 2016

what you do is put in your Amex card details as a paying method & choose it to pay for your chosen item - then use a MR point & code etc

This only works with Amex Reward cards i.e Platinum or Gold cards. Those with Amex Lloyds, Amex cash back, Amex BA cards move along nothing to see here.

It only works with AMEX own cards. I tried with my BA for ages without any luck. In the end called Amazon and they explained that you can only link American Express own cards not others like BA etc

FWIW it doesn't necessarily work with all Amex cards. I have 2 and neither works
