**Update4: uploaded a screenshot of my e-receipt here in case that's helpful for anyone - imgur.com/a/p…g60
**Update3: the currys site says the C6 is unavailable for home delivery now so you can't put the code in. I'd try the following: try demonstrating that the code is legit on a different tv i.e. LG C7 and then explaining that you can wait for a home delivery re-stock on the C6 or they can price match it today. Worth a try, they're all sales people after all!
**Update2: I didn't need to screenshot the basket, just sent them the bundle and the code. You can just say you're gonna pick it up from Currys store. Also specify that currys offer a 5 year guarantee and a HDMI cable is part of the bundle.
**Update1: This is not on the website yet so the link isn't to the right TV but you can email/call your local store via the website
Richer Sounds have a price beat/match policy and are able to beat the Currys deal mentioned here: hotukdeals.com/dea…674
This TV was a Currys exclusive model but with it being late in its life I guess that expired and RS now got stock in the past week or so. It's not on the website yet so contact your local stores to check.
The voucher mentioned expires today I believe but if you contact Richer Sounds and prove it today once they've agreed to it they should honour it.
Not only do you get a better guarantee than Currys (or so they say) its an extra year.
You can also choose to Buy Now Pay Later where you pay no interest if you settle in 10 months (with a £29 settlement fee).
I conducted the whole thing through email, just sending them the bundle that takes the price over £1500 and the code to apply at checkout (TV100A).
Probably the best price around for a TV that stands up well to its twice as expensive successors and supposedly has outstanding 3D which is a nice novelty if nothing else!
The flat screen B6 version has started selling very fast since it hit this price point and is quite hard to find from a big retailer now and the C6 is often considered better on a number of things even if you dislike curved TVs so once this picks up steam I can see it going quite quickly.

Here's what the website says: We believe our 6 Year TV & Projector Guarantee is the most comprehensive guarantee out there. There are no third party insurance agents involved, no complicated claim schemes.
• We’ll cover your TV or projector for 6 years full parts and labour
• Collect and return your TV [if it’s 39" or over].
• Give you a 45-day cooling off period if you have a change of heart, when you will get a full refund - no questions asked.*
• Give you a like-for-like replacement if we can’t repair it.
*After 45 days, providing no claim has been made, you can also terminate the agreement and receive a pro-rata refund at any time.
I've been looking at this tv for some time and the owner threads on avforums and the consensus is that standard def i.e. Freeview is almost unwatchable. 720p is acceptable but as soon as you get into hd - 1080i and 1080p this is when it really starts to show its credentials. All large 4K TVs however do not display standard definition very well even high end because of the problem that the upscalling isn't a perfect multiplier from SD to 4K so not particularly a problem with Oled. I'm keeping my full hd Sony for some of the still very good programmes on freeview non hd and the c6 for bluray hd and some 3D if this deal is going to materialise. Hope this helps.

Luffy
4 Jul 17#8
I did consider sharing this but didn't have time to black out my details etc and their policy is they will match what another retailer offers provided the customer can get hold of it - not what someone else paid for it. If the TVs are gone or voucher expires it goes from a price match policy issue to a "make the sale" issue.
I've actually left the receipt in work but if you guys are still fighting the fight tomorrow I'll share it then.

Was looking at the 65 as currently have a 51 Samsung Plasma. Really wanted the Oled 4k 3D, just can't talk myself into spending 3k and spending this on roughly the same size Tv, would feel like spending money for the sake of it.

The 65c6is worth every penny IMO apparently Currys are knocking £200 of some oleds tomorrow not sure which models though
That is the review from Currys and the LG Marketing fella. Also mentions Currys/Pc World exclusive. Though I have seen it available elsewhere. At moment feels like exclusive as the B,E and G models are hard to find at 65inch
I was worried going from a 50" Panasonic plasma to a 55" as well. Still am a little bit worried that it's not worth the £1399.
Works out at about 20% bigger screen size which isn't loads but hopefully 4k HDR on top of that be a big enough leap.
Also I saw the 55B7 in store and the lack of bezel made it seem bigger than what I expected 55 to be and the 65" was kinda obscene and might actually be offputtingly big.

Let me know how normal Tv viewing is like compared to your Plasma.
I sit around 10feet away from my Tv and my eyes seem to be getting worse (bit blurry in the mornings) so was looking to get a larger Tv as find it hard to read txt when playing some games on my PS4.
I will mainly just have it hooked up to Sky and also PS4 on my days off. Just a crazy jump in price to the 65 and been watching prices for a while. Pumped up for this model but now inventory seems to be disappearing and don't want to lose out on having (what gets said, great 3D) from this Tv as my Samsung Plasma is active 3D so really does look dim with 3D.

If you want 3D don't wait, get the C6 while you still can. I bought it last year for £2300. Unfortunately this year's models don't have 3D and it looks like manufacturers aren't bothered by it anymore.
But there ARE still 3D films being released, so I think it's worth it over the new sets as they don't really bring much newer to the table, a slight jump in brightness I think, but it's plenty bright enough. And the C6 is supposed to be getting HLG in a firmware update but we'll see.
HDR on games looks great (Horizon zero dawn), I'm not a huge fan of HDR TV though, I've tried some on Amazon prime and I think it looks a bit meh, washed out in certain scenes, but that's the content not the TV.

I rang them and asked if they had the C6 in stock and told them about the Currys deal. Initially they said they'd do it for 1435 I said I might as well get it from Currys and he then agreed 1420. He kept saying that RS are offering 6 yrs rather than 5 yrs so he couldnt match Currys.

I tried to get a price match with Luffy's sales receipt with the branch at Milton Keynes last night but they wouldn't have it. Completely ignored the fact and rambled on about Curry's are not doing home delivery and it costs them £80 for their courier, and that they are already better than Curry's as they have a 6 year g/t but would match Curry's £1489, so sorry Luffy not such a good deal to me but thanks for the help. On another point, the G/T that RS provide has no insurance backing so if anything happened to RS you wouldn't have a G/T, not sure about Curry's or which would be more likely to be around in 5 or 6 years time, just a thought.

Curved TVs have been dropped just like 3D. LG dropped them as nobody was buying them, viewing angle is just a gimmick and does the opposite of what the manufacturers were trying to achieve. This is really only good if you're on a budget for an OLED and have no expectations. X)

Risky game - I think this unit is more likely to sell out than go sub-£1400. I say that because I expect it to match the B6 curve only it's held back by being Curry's exclusive (and curved).
As far as I can see the B6 is now quite difficult to find from a Tier 1 retailer with a top guarantee etc. As a result its actually MORE expensive in some places.

I know it's a lot of money but if you are going to spend this sort of money on a TV you need to make sure your sound system backs it up. My previous set up was 10 years old (50" panny plasma weighing about 40kg) so if you need a total update this is good way to pay less for the TV. Also 6 year guarantee on the lot for peace of mind

Is it worth it as my Panasonic picture is very impressive even years on
If you go Curry's never take the Currys care plan rubbish for accidental damage. You can cover on home insure for little or no extra.
He kept saying that RS are offering 6 yrs rather than 5 yrs so he couldnt match Currys.
If anything I felt like I could've pushed mine to be £1385 or so to factor in the £20 price BEAT.
The C6 was exclusive to Currys/PC World. I have though seen the C6 for sale in Selfridges in the Trafford Centre.
Not sure why. Must be trying to offload the last few.
I got the E6 and it is a bloody good TV.
(_;)
ps. I have an LG OLED E6 and recommend OLEDs
I'm guessing curved isn't doing so well as the B7 and C7 are still about £2500.
Curved is less popular for sure hence it was dropped for 2017 models!
In a straight choice between this and B6, this has a better chipset or something and 3D for free so I'd still probably choose this despite the curve.
As far as I can see the B6 is now quite difficult to find from a Tier 1 retailer with a top guarantee etc. As a result its actually MORE expensive in some places.
£20 isn't an awful lot at the end of the day!
Yes If i miss out I miss out BUT i;ll wait for the 55C7V to drop to about £1500 this time next year

Granted it's not OLED, but it's not a £600 worse TV imo.
LG OLED65C6V £2599
Denon AVR2400H £499
Dali Zensor 7 fronts £729
Dali Zensor Pico rears £179
Dali Opticon Vokal centre £429
Dali Sub EF9 £399
Sub Total £4834
Discount £834
Total £4000
I also got free speaker/ sub cables thrown in.
