I just bought this tablet today and just saw here similar deal with exactly same tablet but lower RAM ,
for extra £10 You get extra 1gb ram so I think is worth definitely .
Argos still got them for £99.99!
They really good for kids and battery is for 8 -9 hours
My boys still use Lenovo tab2 after more than 2 years so definitely 5 star buy for Me!

Received and well worth the money. Very fast and looks as though it would survive being thrown at a wall, although I have no current plans to do that

If this had minimum 1280x800 screen resolution then I think it's a good deal but 1024x600 is a bit meh.

1024x600 screen resolution, even at £59.... I neither think its a good or bad deal.

Does this have front facing stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos with good sound like the 8inch version?
The specs on website say mono and I think from a comment earlier says "front facing speakers" plural but asking for a confirmation.

I had one of these then returned it after a few days. It was fine for basic stuff like banking, youtube, looking at photos and basic apps, but it struggles with more than basic gaming. The screen resolution isn't the highest either, but it does come with handy modes that change the audio and screen colour depending on what you're doing which is nice, front facing speakers are nice too. At this price it's a bargain if you're not a heavy user or don't need to us the latest games. I would recommend minimum 2gb ram.
No, RAM. Maybe it was 4gb? I dunno. I've tracked down the comment, from another deal on here:

didn't notice that the 2gb version is £99. The 8" version seems to be the same price as the 7" version at Argos

My son has the nexus 7 2013 it has cracked screen and can only be used through wireless charging as the USB port doesn't work. How can it be 4 years since it's release but there's no clear alternative?

I don't know but some comments I've read state that Android doesn't require 4gb, so why bother? (also, tablets don't commonly use the latest version of Android?).
I'm guessing, therefore, that the only palpable difference between tablets is the quality of the screen and the integration of Android - I've read poor reports of Lenovo's, but going off the reviews most people don't seem to notice.
Happy to be proven wrong by more knowledgeable folk!
Anyone know if you can download from Netflix onto this. Can't seem to save to my lovely Hudl 2. ta

Good buy! stick a 64gb micro SD in. load iplayer, popcorn time, netflix, tubemate, games etc to give you hours of entertainment on the go. Bought the kids these to make up for the dire seatback entertainment on Thomson's dreamliner. Battery lasted all the way to Mexico.
