Used mine for 3 summers and I have to admit showing its age. No rust, just tatty from use. Tempted to get another one....
The vent hole to control air to the charcoal does work but unfortunately creates a hot spot right in the middle. I ended up covering the vent plate in the bowl with tin foil.
