This was £3 for the 2kg bag, now £1.50 for top end basmati rice - way better than Tilda in my opinion.
Works out to be 75p per kilo, which is unheard of for high quality basmati rice.
Wasn't on a yellow/red label, even though definitely reduced - so should be national.

It's is NOT BASMATI in any way shape or form.
And it is NOT a labelling error.

It's badly labeled but it is actually basmati rice. Having used it I can vouch for that. It's supposed to be a step up from their normal basmati rice

Just bought 2 x 10kg Laila Basmatti from Morrisons this afternoon.
Thought it was a good deal saving £8 should have waited and would have saved another £5. :laughing:
