One of my sister in laws has been looking around for some furniture for her soon to be teen sons bedroom, they've just moved & though he's no longer sharing with his younger brother, his room is compact, so she wants something that will give him some floor space. She found this fab Kidspace Ohio High Sleeper with Desk, Wardrobe, Storage and Optional Mattress at Littlewoods for £279 & when checking the options, she found that the choice with premium mattress was the same price as the standard one & the choice without a mattress was over £150 more! She was just about to order when I suggested she check Very as they can sometimes be a little cheaper (although same group) & it was by £30, so you can get all in the picture including a premium spring coil no turn mattress for just £257.99 Delivered, I thought that was a bargain!

Talking from previous experience, the quality of this high sleeper is poor. Don't be fooled by the reduction of price like I was, you get what you pay for in this case. We received our order and discovered how poor the high sleeper material was along with many dents, scratches and marking on the metal & wood. Complained to Very and had to arrange for item to be collected & a refund given which took weeks to sort, my advise would be to stay well clear of purchasing this item of furniture from Very. We saw & bought a good quality study high sleeper form Ikea in the end for the same price and really pleased with purchase.

I dread to think what the non-premium mattress is like if the premium one is open coil and stuffed with polyester. All in all this looks horrendous.

That looks like an awful product. Poor child's feet climbing that ladder bare foot.

If you are looking for a bed of this style we just got one from a company named mrsflatpack and we are very happy with it. (I have no affiliation other than a customer with a happy little girl)
