What's all the fuss about halal? It's comforting to know some dude said some prayer before putting the chicken through the mechanical head separating machine. I bet the chicken appreciated it too.

Have no problem with KFC not being halal as our local one and one in town is halal in Manchester

My local is a filthy horrible cess pit of a place, the staff look/smell like they haven't washed in a month and you have to be careful going through the drive through not to run over a rat! Colonels secret recipe is probably fecal matter.
Shame really as like an occasional KFC.

Or put in any digits (ideally 3 odd numbers and 2 even, or vice versa) to make it look legit and get the 15% off

Why is it in life you have to live amongst these saddos? Who in this planet does not know you need to have a balanced diet, no one saying to have each days meal in KFC.

Id noticed something completely different in my KFC. The pieces of chicken in Bracknell has a slight smell to the chicken, albeit not waste smell and the chicken is thoroughly cooked. But the times I have tried the chicken in other KFC, they do not have this 'smell' which I cannot describe so I do not go to that one anymore.
I dont eat out often but crave a nice piece of chicken, always carry your receipts or pick up when you get there and always use a 5 number combination starting 31xxx for their 15% off.

Where I live, there are two halal ones close by, one on Heybarnes and one up the road in Yardley. The chicken in Yardley KFC was always a bit too salty and I always had to get a drink with the order, the chicken in Heybarnes KFC used to be drenched in cooking oil (which for me was fine because I hate it when fried food gets dry) but nowadays I noticed the recipe has more salt content.
I've also tried the KFC in Martineau Place (Birmingham City Center) and that was also salty. Nowadays I get the burgers and fillets as I find they're not as salty or drenched in oil.

I used to love KFC but all I taste now is salt, everything they do seems to be loaded with salt.

Yeah I get the burgers and fillets more often nowadays. I find the original recipe chicken most of the time in the Heybarnes local KFC has a lot of salt in the recipe.

Yea I noticed that too. My local has a lot of salt in their chicken, compared to KFC I had before from another location/store.

I'm never tried it before but can you just go in and order one of the app offers on it's own? I wasn't sure as the app says you can add these to your order.

Yes you can, even if you have earned a reward (or have the free side as noted in the description) you can go in and ask the cashier that you want to claim it, without needing to order anything else (the £5 off has no minimum spend so you could get £5 of stuff without spending anything)
