It is illegal to carry a locking blade in public without a valid reason. So as an everyday pocket knife it would be illegal. For camping it is technically legal however you must carry properly and not be a moron as if you give the police reason to take it no judge will side with you without very good reason.

I have used Heinnie before and they have bad customer service and if they decide something is 'OOS' after you order it it is, even if it's in stock still on their website. Just be aware of that.

I attempted to buy something from them in the past on sale and though it was 'dispatched' it wasn't and when I contacted them via their website it took two days to respond, with sorry the item is out of stock. I checked the website and it was indeed in stock but at a higher price when I questioned it I received an email that pretty much amounted to "oh well". I didn't lose anything and if they had something I wanted I would get it, but customer service is so so (in my experience).

I've never ever heard anything other than glowing praise for Heinnies service. My purchases through them have always been spot on. Yours is literally the first time ever that I've heard anything at all other than rock solid praise.

I bought this the last time it went on a deal at this price.
It's quite weighty, locking blade so no EDC. The blade is quite dull out of the box so you'd need to sharpen it yourself. Overall it's a nice knife, you can tell it has some build quality. But it's definitely not worth the initial RRP of £50.
It's made in China, I don't particularly mind this, but it may be worth noting.

Agree, I was recently witness to a brutal attack with a bag of vegetables as a weapon, it was touch and go at the time. The best part about it was the guy who perpetrated the attack went home and made his self a stew, the police could not charge him due to lack of evidence.
