Was actually looking for something a little more compact when I came across these. Seems good for 40L and good for flights at 50 x 40 x 20 cm (double check with airline though, just in case) A few colours available and 10% off if you buy 2
50 x 40 x 20 cm, 40 Litres, 800 Grams
Super lightweight polyester material
Reinforced comfort grip top and side handles
Organiser compartment.
Two easy access front organiser pockets

Approved or not, personally, I think this backpack is a little small as an Easyjet cabin bag as they allow a 56 x 45 x 25cm (22 x 18 x 10 inches) bag so you are losing out a bit on your full allowance. It is also too big to be an Easyjet underseat bag. In fact, it is better suited for use on Ryanair flights as their cabin bag limit is 55cm x 40cm x 20cm bag which is pretty close to the size of this backpack.

Dunno about anyone else, but thats why I choose Easyjet!

With all the security issues with shoe bombs, and the fuel costs associated with overly heavy baggage, from next Spring Easyjet standard tickets will only entitle customers to fly butt-naked, with a (non electric) toothbrush as luggage.
For a £100 per leg surcharge, you will be allowed to wear a Bikini/Mankini, and luggage will be expanded to include a soft plastic comb or a shower cap.

Sorry to ask but can some super helpful souls confirm which airlines this is compatible with so members can determine how useful it will be? Im flying this weekend with Norwegian. Their allowance is:
Norwegian Air: 55 x 40 x 23 cm @ 10kg

The sizes are in the description helpfully given by the OP. On reading that description, it appears that it will be fine for Norwegian Air.

I think FlyBE recently reduced cabin bag to 35cm width. Grrr!

Terrible bags. Come apart after a couple of trips. AVOID

looks quite handy, could use it for other airlines which have a "small Cabin bag" option too, namely WIZZ AIR as it's not rigid, if you didn't fill it up, it would still fit into the "baggage size checker things !" ( i am sure there is a word for those things, but for the life of me i can't remember

Wizzair has announced yesterday that it will be changing its hand luggage policy from around Fall (Autumn) time, so may not be best idea to buy one to use on these airlines. Otherwise great price!
