I have just ordered a £37500 XF for £29200. Factory order, September delivery.
I think that the usual finance options are available (I'm doing a cash deal as I'm old fashioned and have saved up!).
They told me its a limited offer, both in time and number of cars available, and it is through a Jaguar dealer based in the South of England.

Depends on how much you think it will be worth in 2 years after sales costs - if you think more than £22k this is better - if not go with the lease.

No. There's no finance deposit allowance in the pricing. I'm doing a cash deal.

Auto trader has 65 and 15 plates for XF at £22k so if you are low mileage the lease is definitely better. In my opinion.

Even some of the 4 year lease options look favourable compared to those barley used prices, looking at the new shape 2014 models with less than 25,000 miles on them dealer prices are coming in at less than £17,000. So that's a 12,000 loss if you very miles over 3 years, and if you keep it a year longer I'd imagine it'll drop another couple of grand as it goes in to MOT territory.
4 years lease, with 40,000 miles over the term, is going to cost you £16,000-17,500 leaving you with £12k in the bank/investments, and at the higher price end you could go fully maintained, so no costs at all other than that.
On the face of it, this deal looks like a good saving, but it's not the best deal for this type of car if you do average miles.

XF 2.0i prestige petrol with metallic, heated windscreen, split rear seat, parking pack and spare wheel. £37485 list. £29200.10 discounted.

Thanks, just comparing to the Carwow quotes I got the other week, still not sure about getting a new XF, now that I've seen the second hand prices, might buy nearly new instead, and save another 4-6k. :smiley:

Remember the lease deals are for R Sport not the Prestige model.
However when I added the Heated Screen, the parking pack with camera, and the folding auto dimming mirrors this rose to £379.

I test drove both the XE and XF. Liked both of them but the XE is just a bit cramped in the back.

Yeah, it's a minefield of extra's with Jag's which is why the Mrs ended up with a Merc instead, since a lot of it is already on there, and you can just add the Premium or Premium Plus pack if you want all the gadgets and gizmo's.
