For £10/mth you get 1,ooo minutes, 5,000 texts and 5GB of 4G data on rollover. You can choose the one plan contract, meaning you can limit your bill to no more than £5 over the tariff price and roaming and bill capping all in the one plan. So use only 3gb one month and you'll have 7gb to use the next.
For £5/mth you get the 500 minutes, 5,000 texts, 1.5GB 4G data on rollover. You can choose the one plan contract, meaning you can limit your bill to no more than £5 over the tariff price and roaming and bill capping all in the one plan. So use only 1gb one month and you'll have 2gb to use the next.
Who can get it? Need-to-knows One-month contract. Runs off the Three network. If you exceed your allowance, it's 10.24p/MB for data, 40p/min for calls to UK mobiles or landlines and 14p per text. Tethering isn't allowed with this network* You'll be credit-checked – see our Credit Scores guide.
Not a bad deal but iD is crap on customer service. Not bas for medium to heavy users!
*officially its not but iD say it uses up your allowance too quickly however they will not throw you off for tethering maybe id can confirm that!

Don't overlook potential for some cashback en route to the SIM - eg via Quidco
to iD Mobile = £5
to Carphone Warehouse = £20, THO no double mins offer that route!
Is the 500 minutes tariff a long term deals and will they let me switch?

Do they support shortcodes? That's the main reason I'm looking to move away from plusnet.

They don't let you switch. You would have to cancel and rejoin, I did so and it wasn't worth the hassle because they seemed to keep on accidentally not ending the contract.

Without exaggeration, this is by far the worst operator in the UK. I genuinely don't know how they haven't been shut down yet. Billing errors, double-charging and account issues are absolutely rife.

They've upped me from 250 minutes on the £5 deal to 1000 minutes for the same price today, no questions asked. I only asked for 500 to match their current and he gave me 1000 so I think it may be who you speak to

The offer is good, but is a contract for a year, is it undefined, permanent?

I was on the 250 minute package and they have doubled it to 500 after I asked, they did the same when the data went from 1GB to 1.5GB.

I called to ask to change my plan to this one and he said he could but I need to be a customer for one month. I only joined Id mobile 2 weeks ago so I'll call back in 2 weeks.

So then the offer is only for 30days, so only the first month, and later will be different Tariff?

ID Mobile can you tether with your network? Will you be kicked off if you do?
iDmobile to Anon32
21 Jul 17#27
Hi there, we do not allow tethering on any of our current plans. If you do use this service it is likely to use up large amounts of your data allowance very quickly, and you will be liable to pay any charge that may occur if you go over your allowance. Please check for updates on our website as this may change in the future. - iD Mobile

I got the email. Was on the 500gb tariff with 250 mins. Switched to the 1.5gb tariff with 500 mins for the same £5 cost. Dead easy.
