It doesn't matter ,they are unrelated for the most part as far as i noticed. The sequel for Tales of Symphonia is Tales of Symphonia:Dawn of a New Age

Far as I've seen, the Tales games are a bit like Final Fantasy in that they're all separate, unrelated stories unless there's a "-2" in the title.

I bought GOD EATER 2 Rage Burst on steam,couldn't get it to work black screen,so got a refund.

Tales of Symphonia is rather good, bit similar to Final Fantasy, it has a sequel to .They recently made an anime of it to, though its rather rushed since its about 50 hours worth of gameplay/story smushed into 6 hours.
You can get them on ps3 to usually about £3 on offer
There's tons of "Tales of " games though, must be atleast a dozen by now if not more

Theres about 20 of them they started on the SNES with phantasia which i have on GBA when it was released on that, Symphonia was the best rpg on GameCube and vesperia was the best rpg on 360.
