There has been a £30 price drop on this watch today.
Excellent price for a very good smartwatch.

I love Pebble watches, still have my time and if i was to go walking etc and want a tougher watch than i don't mind scratching i'll take that (think of it as a basic casio or similar watch) but the Fossil beats out the OG moto 360 in everyway, it also last so much longer because it isnt using an already ancient processor like the moto did. I also got it on a rather hefty discount which helps me think more positively on it!

Had mine for a while now. Find it great and lasts a couple of days with wear 2.0 same as with older version.
Only negative point is it's difficult to see in sunlight, (I always have it on the brightest setting) but that may be the case with all smart watches.

ok i've had a completely different experience with the w1. bought it last year when it was about the same price on amazon. upgraded to 2.0 earlier this year and its been a absolutely dream. battery lasts 2 days easily with screen constantly on. and it looks stunning as well. only quibble is with the android wear 2.0 software where it dosen't show the latest messages on whatsapp. apart from that, its a very good watch

ditto, no issues post 2.0 update and works really well. I was a reluctant upgrader from Pebble, but can get a comfortable 48 hours of "normal" use from a full charge...

I like the new system a lot but it seems to be less accurate when counting steps. It shows more then should. Other then that 2.0 makes my W1 even nicer (y)

I got the w2 for that reason, for the NFC. Rather annoyingly you have to say a screen lock on the watch that you have to unlock every time to do anything. I ended up disabling NFC and Google pay on my watch. I wish you could just set a lock for the Google pay app only.

I brought one two weeks ago and is an excellent watch, I use messages for wear and get SMS, Whatsapp, email notifications pop up on watch, battery lasts me around a day - but does not take long to charge up. - I read somewhere that it has NFC but they not activated it.

Really wanted this as it looks very nice indeed. However no NFC?! Or has NFC but chose not to software activate. Would have been one of the main features for me.

sounds like a leak, think a reflash may sort it.

Any tips for a pebble user?
I need to get a handle on the basics with wear.

How do you find the moto 360 and fossil compared to the pebble? Thinking about an upgrade.

Mine lasts for 2.5 days with android wear 2.

I used a Moto 360 before but sold it and went back to Pebble, now I am back on Wear with a Fossil watch and this happened to me! Un pair the phone and watch, factory reset the watch, reset the phone bluetooth and re-pair the devices.

Got this on Amazon Prime day a couple of weeks ago for £149.99. Nice watch but I'll be returning mine. Just another thing to charge and still can't see the 'benefit' of having a smartwatch.

Got this at Christmas. It looks lovely, I put a metal strap on mine. The metal scratches easily, but screen has no scratches at all. The vibrate motor is not very strong.
Android Wear 2 for me has been a bad experience. In fact, even Android Wear 1 was very unreliable compared to the Pebble I had before which worked faultlessly. Since upgrading to 2, gestures just don't seem to work at all, and despite it being set, notifications never appear on the face unless I swipe up for them. Very disappointed in Android Wear.

I suffered with the exact same symptoms you describe with the added problem that a lot of the time I never received any notifications at all, even with the watch being held 2" away from the phone while it was ringing (and YES, B/T was switched on both devices).

That looks like a thing of beauty. I'd wear that & not even bother with any of the smart features

Had mine since Christmas.A great watch 2 day battery life and lots of extras available.
So tempted! This or HW2?? I think I would like to have the on board GPS and NFC but it's not nearly as attractive as the HW1. Decisions...

You would think that as it is made by Huawei then it would connect easily to my Huawei Honor 8 PRO, but not so. It rarely notifies me of any calls or texts, and on the few occasions that it does then the vibration is so low I don't feel it. I really regret wasting my money on this product now.

Your Bluetooth is definitely on? On both the watch and the phone?

I understand your doubt; wifi isn't actually mentioned anywhere on the Amazon listing other than on this image.

Are you certain? I'm looking at the specs on Amazon (tried PC World too) and they don't list Wifi?
I'm checking the Huawei Watch 2 Bluetooth Sport, is there another with Wifi?

Doesnt your phone have it? You need it for the W1 with you

Thanks for that! I keep looking at Smartwatches, but I think the battery life would put me off most of them. I quite like the look of the HUAWEI
Watch 2 Sport, but I see that it doesn't have Wifi.

I did and it destroyed the battery life.I may reflash it and try again but I was getting to 1-2pm and it was dead. Sat in a box currently.
