Well reviewed and good price for this Mediapad M2. Trusted review. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10’s speakers are the only items clearly stamped with another brand. Harman Kardon units, and there are four in total; two on the top edge and two on the bottom. Note that they don’t simply pump out either side of the stereo feed. Two of the speakers are tuned for bass, the other two for treble. This is quite a smart idea, and a good way to avoid the distortion that can occur when a small driver is pushed to its limits.

Brilliant price for a new and sealed one. As the offer has expired I had a browse and got an as new/graded/28 day return one with 12 months guarantee for £129. Will let others know what it is like when it arrives eg condition etc. Even with 2gb ram and an older version of Andriod, It is still fantastic VFM for the overall size and spec. Bought Huawei for many years now and have had no issues. To many choose to compare with Apple iPads which is insane as they are many times more expensive.
Supposed to pick mine up today, should I?. Are people happy with theirs

Stuck on Android 5 with no official updates, is a bit, pants. Anyone tried to root it and update ? Seems like a good price for the hardware, just a shame about the old OS.
Interesting in the specifications it says that it has 802.11ac wifi ... yet according to wikipedia, the SoC only does b/g/n can anyone who actually has one confirm if it does 802.11ac ?
Here's what wikipedia says about the SoC:
Kirin 930 and 935 supports - SD 3.0 (UHS-I) / eMMC 4.51 / Dual-band a/b/g/n Wi-Fi / Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy / USB 2.0 / 32 MP ISP / 1080p video encode
It states on the site 'Memory card up to 128GB'. Unless that is wrong

I might have to bite and see - Huawei don't mention it, gsm don't list one but other sites say Yes, 128Gb as you say. My LG Pad is getting on a bit now so I've been looking for a replacement for a while now - I'm hoping this could be it.

I stress: micro-SDHC max. 128 GB. Myself, I like also - 1 Fingerprint Reader. ✅

Damn, just about to pull the trigger and then noticed it has no sd card slot. I love my P8 phone and thought this would go great with it but that really is a deal breaker with only 16GB total on-board. No good for hauling movies around on your travels.

I was thinking of getting this tablet or the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus HD 10.1 Inch 16GB Tablet.
Have this tablet myself and I have to say its brilliant! The screen is really crisp and bright, even for a 1080 panel. The speakers are ridiculous, better than most low-mid end bluetooth speakers. Hard to believe sometimes that the sound is coming from a tablet. The build quality is also extremely high and looks great when compared with iPads etc, not the usual cheap plastic crap.
Simply put its a media power house for anyone wanting to watch their content in 1080p!

About the only tablet I can think of that would be comparable to this in the 10" mid-range sector would be the Samsung Galaxy A6 10.1 (SMT-580), you would be hard pushed getting it for this price though. Got mine just after Christmas when it was £179.99 - £30 voucher code at Very, including postage, worked out at £155.
Have not seen it for that low price since however. It does have its advantage of recently being upgraded to Nougat, and a great battery life.
Sorry, I meant that I do that on my phone when the WiFi is right on the range limit.

The review of the speakers does look good.
No official update beyond Lollipop A little stingy with the storage.
Some of the reviews suggest that the Premium version is the one to go for.
A tad overpriced for me with these specs and there being no real future support for it.
