Just thought I would mention a feature that makes a difference for people who copy/scan. It has a feeder tray meaning if you have multiple pages it makes the task much easier. At this price it's a steal. More heat OP :smile:

I got mine in January and the free trial for me runs out this month I was on 300 pages but have downgraded now to 50 pages for £1.99 a month , well happy with it, such a great idea and prints very well , the one I have does both sides . Any info just pm

Collected today, happy with the performance so far..I went for highest instant ink plan... 300 pages one. 5 Months free trial! perfect for now!

Would echo the comments above. I'd not owned or needed a printer for a few years until late last year. Was a bit cynical about Instant Ink to start with, but got a great HP deal on here that came with a trial, so had nothing to lose. Fantastic concept and takes the biggest pain about printers - the ink - out of the equation for very little money, and you literally never run out of it. All very clever ☺️
I only went for the £1.99 per month plan of 50 pages, but whatever you don't use in the previous month gets rolled over into your next month's allowance. Think this is only based on pages not used in the preceeding month (you can't roll over more than 2 months of allowance), but either way, it's a nice touch.
Unless anyone else betters it, I wouldn't go back from the Instant Ink plan, and if I do decide to upgrade my printer, it'll be for another HP.

Printer is fine, works well and print quality is as expected for the price, however it does not print double sided, even though it claims to. When you want to print a double sided document, the printer does one side and then asks you to take out the paper and manually put it back in the printer, this is HP's version of Duplex printing.
Absolutely agree with Alex, this takes all the hassle out of trying to source 3rd party inks. I've been really impressed with HP Instant Ink.

if you sign up for the trial they will monitor your ink levels remotely, as soon as the starter inks start to run out (almost right away!) they will send you new inks in the post.
you install these and print as normal, again they monitor the ink levels remotely and when they detect your running low they will send out another set
when the trial ends you pay X per Y pages per month.
i think we are paying £7ish for 300 pages per month (the wife's a teacher so tends to go nuts with the printer)
for us knowing we don't have to worry about inks and knowing they are official and the quality of the prints is good is worth paying for.
they have cheaper plans but if you run over the amount per month you pay extra - i think its £1 per 20 pages but check that.

you get a starter set of inks (probably half full), once you sign up to HP's Instant ink service (£1.99-£7.99pm) you get 3 months free or 4 with the extra code

The best price so far I'm finding for an OfficeJet printer.
This comes with 3 months ink trial.. you can get one more with FREEINK code and i guess additional if you use referral code. 5 months in total.
