Good price. I'd happily pay that. Got mine for £199 in the Sainsburys deal and the phone's great!

My son is after one of these and doesn't want to wait months to see if it gets back down to this price on vmall. This could be the deal for him

Tempting. Anyone know how easy it is to return to Amazon Spain in case of a fault in future? Thanks.

I can't believe there would be any issue, it's just going to cost you more in delivery charges.

Been waiting for the Honor 8 pro to come down in price, prefer it to honor 9
For £20 more you can get the Honor Note 8 which is a beast! Check VoloKin Project reviewing the 6.6" monster to see what I'm talking about.

Where can one get that for £285? Far East seller I'm guessing.
Unfortunately, it's only a 'beast' in 3 main areas: bigger screen size, higher resolution (1440 x 2560) & larger battery (plus a FM radio).
This one wins in other areas:
- better SoC/CPU (ok, not by much)
- better cameras & dual-rear ones
- 4G Band20 support
- NFC
- IR-blaster/port
- smaller, so much more easy to handle with one hand

Just need an Honor that does not use the SIM 2 slot for the SD card, like my excellent 5X. Does a new one exist?

It arrived today. Hopefully my son is going to be very happy.

Your observations are correct, however the screen is much much nicer and the battery is twice better so it's totally worth it. Far East seller, yes. Imported mine back in October.

ElgyVeeten...however the screen is much much nicer and the battery is twice better...
Already conceded those were better, but I doubt the battery is twice better (especially with the higher res screen), which would imply lasting twice as long. 4500mAh will not last twice as long as 3000mAh, unless you have some independent evidence to back it up.

What version of Android are these on? And which security patch? I have a SIM free unlocked Huawei P9 and despite a few updates it's still on Marshmallow with September 2016 security patches. Kind of puts me off Huawei to be honest as this was a premium flagship only last year.
Wonder if the Honor fold of Huawei does a better job with updates.

I actually do. VoloKin Project said 6.5 to 9h SOT of heavy use, even without band 20. Also 4500mah can actually double the battery life of a 3000mah phone if efficient CPU and screens are used.

It comes with Android 7 and EMUI 5. I don't know about the patch.

Comes with it? Are you sure? Seems odd that the SIM free Honor 8 would come with Android 7 now yet the P9 still languishes on Marshmallow in the UK on all but a few SIM locked variants.

Yes, my son got it Friday and it had Android 7 (Nougat) out of the box.

Maybe the Honor side of Huawei is more reliable then!
