Bit of a drama getting one this morning but got a good deal so was worth it. Reserved at Leicester Homebase and went to collect this morning. Was told on arrival they didn't have one. Chap rang nearest 4 stores to be told all stock had walked out their stores...think about 11 in total. Finally reserved one one in Newark. Requested price, arch which she gave but I had to point out the 10% off also. Glad I didn't tell her what 10% would be as she took £60 off! Bargain at £340! thanks OP and whoever mentioned price check x

I would just like to send lots of love and apologies to anyone else that bought one of these.
Apparently my buying a hot tub and bad weather seem to have come together.

I am really hoping to get the intex 6 person round tub for 500 or less. How does this compare?

I'll do it but I'd prefer if you just bought beer. I hate wine.

Fine, I may be in the minority but we're a year in with a hot tub (admittedly a solid one) and loving it as much as ever. In fact....off in it now!

Nope haven't been the same company for a long time. Years maybe. Argos is now owned by sainsburys and Homebase is some Chinese I believe company now

Hot! Got this from Homebase for £360 a couple of months ago and been very happy with it! Pretty sure Argos and Homebase are owned by the same company but should pricematch plus 10% of the difference (£10)

Excellent price, I purchased from Homebase about 6 weeks ago for £500
Deeper than the round ones, and being square you get more room, easily 4 adults, 6 at a stretch
Took about 4 hours to fill, and temp increases about 2oC an hour when heating (in current climate, obviously if colder outside will take longer) Instructions are just pictures, but really simple to put up, doesnt take long. Comes with a mat to go uner (like a heavy duty bubble sheet) but I purchased the additional mat also. A must is the chemical kit to keep things all tip top.
Very important to wash/shower first, as daughter went in the first week, and next day water was cloudy and bubbled more when the jets were in so had to empty and refill. Was surprised the colour of the filter even just after a week, but quick wash with the hose and was pretty good again.
Loads of accessories available. Bought some robes from JL as well, nice touch lol

If you go into Homebase, they have this for £499. But they price match and give you an extra 10% off So makes it £360, as I bought this a few weeks back and done it.

Much cheaper than a proper hot tub, will get about the same amount of use until the novelty wears off, so you've only sunk £400 as opposed to £4500. Bargain.

Probably more than I expected - Partner just said that you cant go in these without at least a couple of glasses of wine / Prosecco :-)
So probably £10 - £15 a night

Thanks for posting they sold out in the range on these at this price, much dearer on other websites too. I've just ordered mine plus £10 voucher bonus too, and 1% quidco still every little helps. Made my afternoon

Also, with this one, it heats the spa and you can use the air jets for the bubbles at the same time. Definitely a bonus in my opinion.. my one from last year doesn't do that and always have to get it when it's gone to cold!! We'll be upgrading to one of these next year I think...

From the sizes it looks a lot smaller - Lay-z-spa 180cm x 180cm x 71cm compared to 150 x 150 x 65, and 650 litres compared to 840.
