This was great value at full price, and now it is on sale with £20 off. This is a 1080p/60fps port of Project Diva Arcade containing over 220 songs and over 340 modules - that's not even 13p per song!
The bundle includes both song packs (currently reduced to £15.99 each): -Future Sound: 120 songs from previous Project Diva titles (PSP/Vita/PS3) -Colorful Tone: 100 songs from Project Diva Arcade and Project Mirai DX (3DS)
(If that isn't enough songs there is some DLC too!)
There is a free version with 2 songs if you want to give it a try.
Project Diva X for PS4 is also on sale for just over £16 if you have PS+ (includes 24 songs and six melodies).
As usual, you can probably save some money on PSN credit using CDkeys.

Which means you'll also want this: (the physical disc version coming in November)
Wow 220 songs?! I love the F games on the Vita, may just get this, got to decide by tonight, need to check out the other Big in Japan sales as well >.<
Worth getting the season pass? I think 220 songs would last me ages..

Value-wise the season pass doesn't work out as great, but if there are a couple you really want, it's not too bad.

Note the DLC season pass can also be used with the free demo version. I did this to get the extra songs on their own, because I already have the Japanese version.

Super thank you! I wouldn't want to spend all that money on this game only to then have to fork out more dosh to play it

Do you need a base version of the game to play this, or does it work straight from download?

It's a while since I downloaded it - you might need the free base version to play but you don't need to buy anything else.

If it makes you feel better, I pre-ordered the Japanese version, then picked up the localised version and DLC and have now pre-ordered the physical Japanese collectors edition...
Oh, and I bought the mini arcade controller too!

I started with just Future sound thinking that's all i needed. I then bought colorful tone a few weeks after. I eventually bought the DLC season pass... :smirk:
So I ended up spending about £70 urgh. I have clocked in over 100 hours on it so no regrets
It's a steal at that price. Heat!

My gosh, not being fecetious, but I am shocked people play this sort of thing. Shocked.

Garbage with a mid-80s rating on Metacritic? It's basically a compilation of the songs from previous games.

There are two free songs in the demo. The whole Miku concept is pretty interesting, when you realize all the songs are made by fans using a voice synthesiser. Anyone can make a song, and potentially see it end up in a game, or even a "live" concert. It's not just a pervy anime character (not that there's anything wrong with that ;-)

There's also a practice mode, where you can practice any part of a song, and retry it as much as you like.
The graphics for the songs vary in quality. The ones from Diva F and F2 are excellent (and now run at 60 fps), but some of the old ones are quite basic (but still funny).
If you've enjoyed any other Miku game, this is a must buy. I paid about $65 for the Japanese version, but didn't regret it.

I bought this at full price - exceptional price, it's basically the full arcade experience and has an incredible amount of songs.

I pre-ordered it on the Japanese PSN! (cost me a lot more than this...)
It's a bit different from the other games - definitely harder! Fundamentally - they've added some slide notes, but the biggest difference is that there are sections where you have to hold 3 or even 4 buttons, but you can customise the controls a lot (such as set R2 to count for pushing all four buttons).
As for the content - it's basically a massive list of songs and you can unlock modules. There isn't a story like in X, a diva room or stuff like that.

Amazing value at launch and unbelievable value at £24.99! Buy this now if you have even a remote interest in rhythm games.
I've been waiting for a reduction on the DLC so I'll probably pick up the season pass at £11.99 (down from £19.99)
