Worked fine. However it took me a while to realise that if you lost connection and then reconnected, accolades wouldn't top up. Lost me many an hour.

The trophies were rarely popping legitimately via normal gameplay without taking measures to try and force them to pop, it's mostly why they have such a low obtained percentage on PSN (mainly the 'unbeatable' trophy, which is below 1%)

I remember reading that Polyphony got a former Forza sound guy in to help with the sound quality.

I really need a good racing game but lack of unlockables and licences gives me the feeling I would get bored quick.

Reading any description of the game would disprove your comment. but i guess some people are weak at comprehension skills. Makes me wonder why do people do this?

Saw some footage on YouTube of the beta and it visually looks ok but not convinced at all by the sound of the cars especially the tyre screeching noise, I know it’s beta but really hope they improve that. I will eventually buy this but will most likely wait. Heat for the deal.

You do have a full single player where you work your way up, earn credits to buy etc

Also for those saying they'll wait to the next Full Game.... This is it. GT Sport is essentially Gran Turismo 7. Kazunori the Games director could have called It that If he chose to but Gran Turismo wants to stray away from collecting dozens of *Standard Edition Cars* & Focus on Quality & Premium look & feel to the way the cars handle and drive. The Sport Mode is essentially Online Play & It's huge part of the New Game. The traditional Career Mode (GT Mode) Will still play a huge part in this upcoming Game but they have huge things planned with the FIA & Bringing GT Sport to real life events, eSports, (FIA Prize Giving Ceremony), GT Academy and so forth. It will be a Full GT Game and It's going to be the best one in the series.

Will it be a complete game when it comes out?

Congrats on the platinum. Did you make a fake account and deliberately lose your main account face off challenges for the 'contender' and 'unbeatable' trophies? I find they can be rather glitchy without boosting.

Literally today I got my platinum trophy for Drive Club. No. No. I cannot try Gran Turismo.

I was in the city center this morning and held off ordering this to check the in store, yeah the assistant tried to justify the £5 in many different ways, from "ordering online rarely gets posted on time", "online preorders get supplied by different companies (despite the site clearly saying 'sold and fulfilled by GAME')", "put the non-refundable deposit down and if you (are not an accountant and) think about it the game will cost you the £44.99 anyways (yeah plus the £5 deposit)" and "we get taxed and online doesn't" X)

The Amazon Steel Case edition has some nice extra's, but that's £57.99. The Standard Edition doesn't show any extra's that I can see. Can you give me a link for the Amazon pre order bonuses please?

What Game lists as the 'Limited Edition' is not much different than what is supposed to be the standard edition, just 3 different cars.

Lots of editions. Think i might go with Amazon... Some of those cars are big head starts.

Should be a lot nicer than the typical prologue releases which were quite small even if quite replayable :smile:

Pretty sure there will be GT 7, it's just a matter of time, either sooner or later. If Polyphony Digital ceases the development of future GT games it would be one of the saddest moments in racing game history...

This is indeed the next "full game" in the series. The guy in charge has said GT 6 was the last game in the "first generation" of Gran Turismo and GT Sport is the first game in the "second generation". It's possible that next Gran Turismo will feature a more fully fleshed single player Gran Turismo is renowned for but the next release will be many years away. This is not a stop-gap "prologue" type release earlier entries had.

have been playing beta for couple of months, it's okay but I'd personally look forward to GT 7 rather than GT Sport. This game will be more or less like project CARs. I prefer a GT game that allows you to start from scratch, earn your licenses and get to the top.

GAME.co.uk Sold out of the GT6 Anniversary Edition, So yes If anyone was wanting the SE I would advise Pre Ordering. If you were in the Beta Test like myself you would see they've improved in every count. Graphically the benchmark will be set for racing games come October for 4K & True HDR.

No one's forcing you to Pre Order I'm sure you'll sit happy on your side of the court either way.

Never pre-order, this game isn't going to sell out and it's too expensive for a glorified demo/beta.
