Good deal even without the cooler. Using this Mobo with the 6700k, I've had no problems with it.

Does anyone know if this is compatible with Samsung 960 Evo M.2 drives? The QVC SSD support list and PCPartPicker suggest not, but I'm not sure why this would be? I've bought the board so want to check, I can't seem to find many others of the Gen 3 NVMe spec that are confirmed to work. Thanks!
Ps. Ebuyer must have run out of the cpu fans they were giving away with this, it's no longer included.

Can you update BIOS via USB?
I've bought this but after a kabylake, and my first buld so no other processor to use

Just some info as I was looking to use this with a KabyLake 7500.
I spoke with ebuyer and they could not confirm the BIOS version and were unable to find out what it was. For a KabyLake the BIOS must be later than F.20, if it isn't , then it can be updated but only by putting a skylake processor in place, which I don't have.
As the 7500 I was looking at and a 6500 are similar prices then without knowing the BIOS level and not having a skylake, I can't buy this - but it's still a good deal.

Can this board utilise 3000mhz ddr4? Or is it capped at 2133mhz?

Yes it can, I am using 3200mhz Ram without an issue.

Currently rocking that exact combo right now, great board. It's also one of the boards you can downgrade the BIOS to enable easy overclocking of non K Intel chips. I have an i5 6400 running at 4.4ghz rather than the stock 2.7ghz.
Banned!? That will teach him for having an opinion!

Have built many PCs (since 8086 days) and never seen a warped motherboard. Don't use it, send it right back, lest you be blamed for warping due to misinstallation should it fail later on.
Edit: just googled and found many pics of warped motherboards; am surprised this is a thing but I would never accept one.

Only crossfire according to the spec list on the site.

yes that's correct an unsymmetrical build would cause warping but I would have thought this would e designed correctly to avoid this and warping is not really seen to much , and the boards would not pass certain QA criteria if the warp is over a certain amount so it could have happened during assembly , but you would be surprised how much you can bend a board and it would still be fine .

I got one of these boards from Amazon yesterday.. was warped to hell, went straight back... could they be trying to get rid of their old bendy stock?

It's just because the Z270 boards are out now. I noticed mine was warped but apparently that is normal anyway and once bolted down it's fine. If you think about it, it's huge surface area on thin fibreglass

Not sure what the stackup is whilst making these boards but warping can come from either/both an unsymmetrical build and the components on it, so long as the stress screwing it down flat doesn't cause any damage, the warping is fine

Really good deal but I would sell the cooler for £20 and buy a aio. My 6700k runs at 4.8ghz all day long
