If they don't work why do you not return them?
My pair have been used 3 times a week for the last 10 years and I've only just had to replace them because I dropped them for the millionth time and a bit broke off that kept catching my hair.
I cannot recommend them enough to be honest my mum has had about 10 pairs in 10 years and when I need to use them when I stay over it's the worst thing ever!
Most hairdressers use them to because they are just easy and reliable and last if there was something better the hairdressers would totally be all over it.
Hope that helps

I have a 9 year old pair which are awesome and a 3 year old pair which are ok. Think the name was sold a number of years ago so the quality isn't as good as it was. Same with anything though, if you buy cheap be prepared to buy twice and whatever you get look after it.

Fair enough. Thanks for the advice! I may proceed with caution, I'm somewhat put at ease by the 2 year warranty though. If they turn out to be a dud, they'd likely go wrong within that time and I can just send them back.

Same here only know of the brand name and think that's all it is 'Brand Name'
But no I purchased them her as gifts from respectable retail department stores. She likes them when they work but problem is they don't work for long. After about 3 sets of these things she's now come to conclusion they crap, don't last and just fashionable through branding of name. She did mention the saloon what does her hair never have anything good to say about GHDS'???
Good luck!!

Looking at getting as a present, have no personal experience with them other than brand recognition. I do know that Chinese fakes are very common, did she get them cheap somewhere, or from a legit reseller?

I cant seem to get 20% off on Lookfantastic for the GHD styler
This is what they said 'I have looked into this for you and I can see that this brand is part of our discount exclusions. Certain brands don’t let us include their products in our offers and promotions'

I'd push that if I were you then and talk to a manager in customer services. I couldn't see anywhere obvious that said it didn't apply on that page, which is misleading.
You can try and angle it that you're doing them a favour by giving them feedback that helps improve their site, and they should reward you with the discount on this occasion
(Or just get it cheaper from Amazon..)

Code doesn't apply to GHD on Look Fantastic unfortunately.

Well they shouldn't do because that's RRP. £70 is a cracking price although I just found them for £92 (plus 20% off in a flash sale from lookfantastic):
Yes, that's obviously still not as good as £70 from Amazon but who the hell is realistically going to be able to compete with them on a regular basis?
Point being, if for whatever reason you don't get them for £70, don't pay £110!

Oh dear. I just paid £99 on Amazon two weeks ago, my wife's 5 year old pair died. (more from here mistreatment than the product having issues). Couldn't find much better prices without going refurbished on eBay.
So this is a fab price.

Awesome price - and title clearly states it's a prime day deal. Voted hot from me, and sent to a couple of friends i know are looking. Thank OP!

Technically as its not available at this price without prime, shouldn't prime membership be included in the quoted price? I see other people being forced to amend costco deals because they didn't include the costco membership so surely this is no different?
