I think they were always expensive but late last year and up till now they promised to beat Argos on price with toys. They seemed to run out of stock pretty quickly but they did always beat the price that Argos was selling items for

Bought my daughter one of these a couple of months ago, I'm sure I read somewhere that support for these Furby's ends in July 2018.

Heat added, great deal. Be aware that the bluetooth functionality will ONLY work if your kids' device support Bluetooth LE (neither our old Samsung S3 phone or Galaxy Tab 3 have this, so it doesn't work). Check with this simple app, for example, to avoid disappointment https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.magicalboy.btd&hl=en_GB

Tesco usually try and beat Argos on price so I can't believe it's so expensive on there. Are these any good?

Tesco have become the most expensive of the big retailers, not really price matching any one any more, not even any 3 for twos on the go.

Some of the ones from Amazon direct are 1-2 months wait. Can't risk it for my nieces birthday in Sept which is a shame. Luckily they are in stock at my local Argos
