Lovely green island - and drinkable wine is as cheap, if not cheaper, than the beer. Thomson customer service is rubbish if anything goes wrong and disabled assistance at the airport is more miss than hit but a bargain so hot.

To be honest any resort on Kefalonia is pretty good really. Skala has a lovely long beach and at this time of year after the recent 40 degree + heatwave the sea must feel like bath water!
It's not (yet) been over commercialised like it's sister island Zakynthos, and has a wide variation of scenery including a couple of national parks, one with a mountain and large forest trails! Beautiful Island :sunglasses:
