This is my first deal so feel free to come down on top of me like a ton of bricks: Your online privacy is under attack. Windscribe sets you free. Windscribe is a privacy tool that allows you to access the Internet anonymously, helping you unblock Geo-restricted content, bypass network firewalls and keep your browsing habits hidden from prying eyes.
Windscribe is not just a VPN, it’s a desktop application and browser extension that work together to protect your online privacy, unblock websites, and remove ads and trackers that follow you across the websites you visit every day. Never mess with confusing settings and options menus again, our minimalist applications are designed to be turned on once, and forgotten about.
· Mask your physical location from 3rd parties with an encrypted tunnel · Never see most ads again (Requires browser extension installation) · Access geo-blocked content · Torrent securely and share files without worrying about your ISP snooping on you · Use on all your devices simultaneously · Best-in-industry firewall that protects you in case of connectivity loss, which is superior to a “killswitch” · We take your privacy seriously: emails are optional, and we have a strict zero logging policy · Earn money sharing links with your friends

I got this a while ago when it was free too. :-)
Buy it was only 50GB at the time, hehehe.
I haven't really fully utilised the last one, lol.
But I may do a fresh one with this one also ...

I use the paid version and it work okay with no significant speed loss. The android app is currently in beta but there is a work around.

See no mention of 50gb and 10 which it is, is nothing more than a trial

It's 60GB and can be applied to existing user accounts as well. The email confirmation explains how to do redeem the voucher code that will be sent.

Android appears to need the pro account.
Desktop version worked well for me until steganos did an update. If you have more than VPN installed windscribe does not like it. If only you could just turn apps on and off when you need them, but that would be too simple wouldn't, t it?

Claimed this last time it came up and it works a treat! I find it easy and simple to use, download the program, log in and select your desired country and click start. Works all the time without much hassle and I have to say it's the first i've tried and potentially the last as I am set with 50gb every month

The connection has timed out
The server at windscribe.com is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

cactusvpn ain't bad as long as you don't need a huge choice of servers. One of thefew vpns where I can max by 200mbps connection. You can try free for 24hrs - no payment details needed. Doesnt work with Netflix though.

Is this the best option for someone who only needs a VPN for torrents (using Vuze – but can switch to another torrent application if needed)? Low volume (would not even get close to 60gb)
It’s free, so is there a catch?
Thanks

I used Windscribe whilst abroad recently, when using the hotel's free wifi, and it worked fine for me. 50gb is more than enough for me and other good ones are available with less bandwidth eg zoogvpn
As for the privacy matters here's a website where I downloaded a very interesting Excel file that compares a lot of VPN services on various levels...thatoneprivacysite.net/...…ems independent but nothing to do me with so obviously I can't vouch for its validity or accuracy. I used it to help me look into VPNs in more detail. It might help others too especially those who take a more serious approach to logging and security.

MadeInBeats to FloraNordin
5 Jul 17#40
I doesn't work with uTorrent (maybe there are settings you can change) but it does work with qBitTorrent. No one has any idea about logs. If they don't mention it then they probably keep logs; that would be my guess.
It allows torrenting. When I first took up this offer, I found the download speed plummeted to almost nothing (as in 500 down to 30 which is telling, but could be down to the particular server the application connects you to), but as I switch it back on to give some real figures...... without it I just had 273kb/s downloading, with it I get 262kb/s, so no difference (low speed due to the particular torrents I'm downloading.

I personally don't use a VPN that often. I'm aware of Opera but don't really use it - so I can't say, give it ago? My point was that this probably wont be much better.
