Toby cavery launched their new app on Apple and Android. Sign up on their new app and get 33% off the food bills. The discount will be in the wallet on the app and there be a QR code. Sign up for their newsletter and get a FREE Sundae too.
I went on the Groupon offer a few days ago, after not going for years.
It was a timely reminder about why I haven't been for ages. It was horrendous, the same as every other time I've been, in fact the same as every other carvery I've ever been to.

I've noticed a few - including ours - Toby's being converted into steakhouses. Does anyone know how widespread this is?

I know it is subjective, but the Eastbourne site has been diabolical on every occasion recently. Even with a greater reduction I would still by pass it. Cold dehydrated vegetables, roast potatoes deep fried and dripping in oil. Four slices of pork, two of which was just fat.

I would add that after signing up the download link for the voucher off the drink expired in June and the voucher for the free sundae expires 7th July.

If you want to know if any food establishment is any good, go and have a look in their loos!
Applies to Toby and any other restaurant.
Some Tobys are better than others, However I agree they offer good value for money and where you can eat proper food, with proper china rather some fancy design tiny so called food on a piece of slate!

It might be a silly question, but do they do chicken?

The meats on offer at my local are usually Turkey, Beef, Gammon and Pork for the carvery.
The is also a menu which may have chicken options.
If I remember correctly I believe they have chicken wings as a starter on the menu.
We usually just have carvery so haven't paid much attention to the rest of the menu.

They whack £3 on the price for Sundays too. Not bad for £6 or so, but not worth a tenner.
