If you're a Prime member, Amazon are giving away free gift cards. They come in their own presentation cards too.
And they're free! What will you buy with yours? Probably nothing - because they come with nowt on them
Useful also as flash cards for learning the first letter of the alphabet, or as a windscreen ice scraper, or for... well, topping up and giving as gifts.
And yes, they deliver them next day by Prime delivery too...

You can add funds to these quickly online so not a bad thing to stick in the draw and if you forget someone's birthday etc it looks better than sticking cash in a card.... or I find them great fro grouting tiles

I don't understand why anyone would use this ridiculous and irritating acronym multiple times at the end of a post that displays a complete and utter lack of humour

one review:
These are priceless I mean literally, a perfect gift to give to that person whom you will see once and then never see again.. you can look like a real hero gifting them £50.00 of amazon vouchers, only for you to enjoy their party, drink their drinks and then leave..
The next day when they 'try' to redeem (they prob do this about 5-6 times thinking they entered the code wrong) they will find out there is nothing on the cards.... the perfect crime, mwahahahaha

Hold on, don't be so hasty. Maybe they meant draw. Maybe they are planning to use them as raffle prizes. Did you think about that?
And I'm really surprised you missed fro... In for a penny...
(And yes, I'm joking lest you have no sense of humor whatever)

Why does it look better than cash, your kids/close friends/family will need a drink (from a pub) and not wait for amazon to deliver, after you forgot their birthday

But I'd have to go there. Not only does this expend energy which adds to the cost, but seriously, why when I can have them delivered to my door? (and to the door of the poor unsuspecting fools next April muhahaha...)

14 Jul 17#28
put one in the basket just to see if you could get "no rush delivery" for a free £1 credit but no such luck
Without any kind of monetary value I really don't see the point in these. Considering Amazon is a online operation physical gift cards are pretty pointless for them anyway apart from gifting and an empty gift card makes a pretty sucky gift....

You're missing the point. You don't give an empty card - you load it online first. Very handy last-minute gifts or raffle prizes when you need something there and then, rather than a day or two later. Thanks OP - very useful.

Sure, I know that, I voted this hot anyway for that case, but I meant there is not money saved, surely the primary goal of HUKD, you will still have to pay whatever you are going to put on it without discount, just a little convenience factor, which will vary a LOT from person to person, but for a freebie it's fine....

Which is fine, apart from those of us who live outside major cities and have no access to Prime Now. For us, the cards are extraordinarily useful.

I use plastic cards to smooth down filler in small areas - saves having to clean other tools.
Also very useful to scrape across bee stings - another true story!

Mine arrived yesterday. I wanted plastic too. But these are made of card, which doesn't suit... my own purposes.

Likewise - Amazon must have got wise to the windscreen scraper game! Cards made of card - whatever next? Still fine for the intended purpose, though. Doubt the lucky recipients will be too fussed that they're not made of plastic.
