I got a cancellation and I live in south of Birmingham. I called up to complain and the person who I was speaking to seemed to not have a clue what I was talking about. But in the end they gave me a reason why it was cancelled by saying it wont get to me in time within the 2 months of ordering it. But was a little annoyed as I dont mind waiting and they could of just told me this and asked me in an email before they cancelled. But in the end just ordered again as they are still the same price.

Spear and Jackson garden tools are just OK unbelievablely over priced .With the likes of Fiskars and Wilkinson Sword tools the quality is The best .So please never compare rubbish with quality tools .

They have a load of these discounted in my local sainsburys - along with a load of other garden tools (including fiskars garden shovels, fiskars small spades and forks, pump bottle paint sprayers (if that's what they are? - for spraying garden fences?), own brand forks and shovels, hoses and a load of hose attachments (hozelock and own brand) - it might not have been this size though, the ticket showed they were double reduced, from £30 to £20, then to £10.
I guess they are getting rid of the seasonal stock - so could be worth visiting your local to have a look.

I bought a £5 folding one yesterday from Wilko. Only used it once so far though.

I'm not convinced on sliding blade safety. Not had any problems with my cheapy from Lidl.

Yeah, I'm tempted to go for s folding one. Found one on Amazon but don't know whether to wait for this or cancel and buy a folding one. The reviews for this look good though

Dont use WD40, it doesnt last. Keep an oily cloth (3in1 oil or similar) and wipe with that.. Same for all tools, keeps the rust away and lasts!

I've got a Lidl folding one I bought nearly 5 years ago for about £3. It's had heavy use and still going strong. No rust.

Caution with this as i bought the spear and jackson identical copy of this and its crap , the blade retracts as you are using it .

Not sure what relevance that has, judge a product by its competitors? The reviews for this actual product on Amazon seem to be incredibly positive.

Ordered on eBay for same price. Hopefully it will cut through sine intrusive bamboo that is growing in the garden. Heat added for prime users.

I purchased the NEST thermostat on Prime Day and it said a couple of month wait ... it is being delivered today!
I wonder whether sometimes the suggested wait time is simply a deterrent / a way for Amazon to meet their next day delivery SLA's

These are good, but if left in a damp shed they rust to destruction. Put plenty of WD40 on after every use.

Noted but not the same product as quality will differ. Ordered but will see if I can find a folding version instead. Out of stock anyway for about a month
