I pointed out that that he adds where annoying and asked if there was a way to stop them, always helps in my opinion if you act a little dumb. The operator checked and said she could disable them for £10, I then said I was not happy to pay to remove these adds. The amazon rep then said as a one off she would do this for free. within 5 minutes they had been disabled.

Contacted amazon as suggested and now add free, anyone recommend a good cheap case?

Would it actually play the videos though? And just display them at 600p?

Does this play 720p videos? in the specs it says 'sd video playback' but surely it must play 720p.....?

Sure did - yesterday I bought some SDHC cards (sold by Amazon) with £10 off and today I bought the 16GB version of the Fire 7 tablet again with £10 off. Both using the STUDENT10 code, and both arriving tomorrow!

Just call them or contact on line tell them you don't want adverts and they will remove for free after it's registered. I did this yesterday !
