does anyone know if buying this just to get stormblood works? I have heavansward already but this appears to be cheaper than standalone stormblood

Nah you weren't, there are clearly brand new accounts which made one single post to ask for a code which all got banned (usually when a mod or the system spots multi accounts).

I was one of those people. :disappointed: I just wanted to not have to pay for the costume from the cash shop as I hate paying for aesthetics. Never got one but well, it aint the biggest of deals.
The game is awesome - a total timesink and a great MMO to try out for people into that stuff. The funniest thing is that both this, and FFXI both have stronger stories than any of the offline FFs since X - great storytelling which is rare in this genre.

It was for costumes. Guessing they were ebayers using multi accounts to beg for free codes probably to try and sell later.

Well first off i was joking, and secondly, people have been creating accounts just to ask for a free code you could get via 02 priority for the full unlock of FFXIV (i think it was the full version), and basically it was a joke about that. Hope this explains it all
