This is a lot cheaper. You have two games to finish. By the time you are finished the other probably would have seen a slight price drop.
On the other hand, you do have to grind in X in order to beat some of the later bosses. I had to spend about five hours farming/grinding prior to the final dungeon just to be able to tackle it. Thoses bosses that use Zombie are a right pain to deal with if you have a poor set up. Random battles are also a pain, and can last a while.
Just my thoughts.
