My nexus was pre 2012 model...I bricked it trying to put cyanogenmod onto it to make it usable again. It's now completely dead...which is less annoying than it was before...

After upgrade to 5 is really crap. Now is nice working rom 7.0 and Nexus is fast and stable.

My nexus 7 (the first one) was brilliant until they made it unusable with a firmware upgrade.. My Transformer TF300 was brilliant until it got too hot to touch, they failed to fix it on 3 attempts until if range out of warranty then they said tough. Threatened them with small claims court and all sorts but they weren't bothered. Wouldn't touch them again.

Good tablets but Asus are terrible at upgrading to newer Android releases. Expect this tablet to be frozen in time on whatever Android version it ships with :0(
