Lowest price I've ever seen for an aftermarket 1080 Ti! This isn't far off what most 1080 GTX are still being sold at, excellent price.
EVGA for those unaware have arguably the best warranty in the business as it's also fully transferrable to a second owner, which ensures they're desirable if resold. They also allow the owner to remove the cooler without voiding the warranty. The EVGA step up program is also worth a look.
In my opinion this deal knocks the spots off my last deal and is IMO a better value proposition than any other 1080 Ti posted currently (or ever).
Fill your boots.
Mine is marked for delivery Friday 12th July.

What have you done!?
Here I was, innocently having a cup of tea in bed and now I’ve just ordered this card. what am I suppose to do with it!? I’ve now got to get back into pc gaming, (it’s been about 15 years) and source some more parts. I don’t even have a case or keyboard!

Order it and cancel on the 11th if no deals surface.

Does seem crazy you can't unexpire if you posted it or have it so it takes something like 3 different people to unexpire it on a button, similar to it takes 2 to expire a deal.

This needs to be unexpired and have marked the other deal as spam.

True enough, but if people still grab a good deal then it served its purpose. Can't say as I agree with the 'rules' around here though.
If users can mark a deal as expired, there should also be a mechanism of users unexpiring deals.

True, true! 1440p,165Hz here myself with G-Sync. I find it hard to notice increased smoothness beyond 120 Hz, but I was surprised to find that then made 60 Hz feel like a slide show! G-sync does seem to help smoothen up games that fall below my desired 120 Hz target, particularly games that have highly variable framerates. I'm about half way through emulating Zelda BOTW via Cemu at 30 fps (with occasional brief dips to 25 fps), so I am avoiding silky smooth PC games until I finish it so as not to spoil my perception and enjoyment of the game. "Just" another 100 hours to go for me then!? Other than the hourly Cemu crashes, I can take solace in the fact that the experience is much better than on the native WiiU/Switch hardware. If only Nintendo started making games for the PC, so we could see their masterpieces really shine without being held back by prehistoric hardware (and, before anyone comments; I bought a brand new copy of the game before emulating it, so I am not a dirty pirate).

1440p is fine for a Ti, though I agree utter overkill for 1080p. There's plenty of games at 1440p that won't peg a 144hz monitor to it's limits so if you want FPS I'd recommend 1440p over a 4k monitor with a crappy 60hz ceiling.
Can't believe this guy is building a new rig based on a GPU deal (after over a decade lol), top banana!

I was the same way until last year mate when I fell in to the same trap. Just think of all the money HUKD has 'saved' you...
Now, go grab the Ryzen 5 1600 CPU deal, an MSI motherboard (cashback) and a few sticks of 3200 RAM.

To take advantage of the power you'll also *need* a 4k or ultrawide display, as this card is overkill for 1440p and below. Haha.

Well i have caved and bought one. Should get decent money for my 1080 so won't cost me much to upgrade.
Why are Amazon charging over £100 less than everywhere else for the EVGA cards?

9 Jul 17#37
Not sure mate. As I mentioned my stock seems to be coming from France so I'm unsure if Amazon are sourcing cheaply elsewhere via XE. But I've been monitoring FR/DE/IT and I've seen no such reductions there - if they dropped well in EU there could be a sub-£600 AIB deal to be had.
I've got a Zotac 1080 Amp Extreme at the moment too (£390 off of Amazon) which will be going on eBay when the next FVF deal lands (no chance I'm paying them 10%).

Yep, ordered this morning. Originally had a 18 July arrival date, this has now been brought forward to 15 July. Still not sure if I'm keeping it yet, but I do plan to upgrade my monitor to an ultrawide soon, so was thinking the extra grunt will help over the 980Ti.

Due to the cooling performance there is a performance difference because of how GPU Boost 3.0 works. Absolutely no question this EVGA card is the better deal (unless you intend to water cool).

If you don't fancy the SC2 @ £641, I'd go for an FE @ £582. The reference designs on the FE 1080/1080Ti is very sound and unless you're pegging it at 4k you shouldn't notice the noise.
That way you can also a hybrid on it (1080 or Ti units fit) and you end up with a top notch card. Depends how much you need RGB... or not!

Agreed, think it sprang up somewhere around 9am.
I've set a new alert on Camel (still showing wrong price) but I'd watch the 1080Ti in general, prices seem to be changing a lot, set some alerts for cards you're interested in on CCC.

Looks like the show is over folks, Amazon now reflecting £699.99.
If you're after a Ti, go grab the FE or SC2 for £582 & £641 respectively before they amend pricing.
This card went to £608 at some point after midnight I think and was relevant until 9am ish. Makes me wonder if the lower prices we've seen are work of their algorithm and are all going to get uplifted.

This is a better deal than the Founders Edition @ £582.50 if you are not going to water cool the card and are only interested in the stock cooling solution.
The SC2 has RGB fan lighting if that's important to you. The Black edition here has only the white LED "1080Ti" written along the side of it.
It also seems the SC2 will not work with the standard EK blocks for the FE cards where they WILL fit the Black edition if that's important to you. The same is true of the EVGA FE Hybrid kit, it will fit this card, but not the SC2.
Clock speeds and performance are otherwise identical.

Unsure mate if this is Amazon UK sales algorithm going mental and amending certain cards, or if Amazon are just the first to act - I've noticed Amazon IT/DE/ES aren't following the reductions, nor have I seen similar deals on any other resellers like Scan or OCUK.
So I'm really not sure if this is Vega related (personally don't think so) or not.
