dr martens have absurd pricing now that they've become a "fashion" brand.
my last pair of 1460s were only £65. they're a rip off now.

Fashion has a lot to answer for, I remember Converse were around £20 from the skate shops. They became fashionable and they were suddenly in every shoe shop for £60. Vans went the same way.

Wow! Paid £98 for some cherry reds (pascal for women) for my daughter when they had been £20 less a few weeks earlier. Damn birthdays at the wrong time!

it wasn't £105 for a pair of made in thailand 1460s before though
£75 for a pair of canvas high top converses is even more laughable though. they're like £1 shoes.

I would agree they are like £1 shoes. Our company started having Doc Mart safety shoes and they were going like hot cakes, within a week they were all sent back to the supplier as everyone had holes in their socks. I would never have another pair of Doc Marts.
