I have been looking at buying phantom and having read horrible reviews on trust pilot and other web sites (juts google for reviews) you would know this is not the company to trust with your money. I have no patience to pursue chargeback and purchase protection for some savings. Good deal but proceed with caution.

You may have warranty issues if you purchase abroad

How do you find it without the controller? And do you know how much the controller is?

Doesn't need to fold. It's quite small as it is.

Also vouch for eglobal, spent over 1k over last 3 or so years with them, never been stung for import. Sometimes drag their heels with dispatch for a few extra days (they probs dont have stock for some things like they say they do, instead they probably get the items locally) but can't fault them really.

a) The Spark is great.... have had mine a week and loving it... but... b) Wouldn't buy from eglobal whatever the price.... they may be cheap but customer service horror stories abound, so it's a huge gamble. Especially for something as prone to needing warranty support as a drone. Suck it up and buy from a proper UK retailer, or from DJI themselves.

What £900?! ive made one too - my racer was around £300, at £900 you must have a professional rig. Not comparable to a 1080p selfie drone.

Having mastered my GoPro karma over the last few months i think I'm ready for several more, the spark being the next Toy! I think the £500 with the controller would of been a great buy, unsure about importing as duties suck when you caught out! Good buy all the same if you manage to escape the port suckers

Phantom 3 Standard is sometimes in the mid 300's on Amazon warehouse. I feel the Spark will come down in price, I was going to say it is a little overpriced but having spent £900 building my own drone including all the accessories needed, they really ain't cheap to make.

Just be aware that DJI do NOT have am international warranty. So if it breaks it would need to be returned to the country it was purchased from.

Really? This is over £500 elsewhere. It's not a toy but a high quality well made drone that was launched a few weeks ago. Smh

Reading some reviews, it seems you could get stung for Import tax/VAT and other charges, so it could end up closer to £500 and what happens if you have a warranty issue?
